6’2 PG Jaxonn Roberts Jaxonn Roberts 5'11" | PG Corner Canyon | 2023 UT || Corner Canyon High School || 2023 ||
The lefty ball handling PG from CCHS was doing some really good things with the ball in his hands. Jaxon was using his quickness, length and burst of speed to get by defenders. He did change speed at times that kept defenders off balance. Jaxon is quick and often finds himself penetrating and either creating for himself or others. He’s a tough cover when he stays low. His handle has even gotten better since we last saw him in the state tournament. He was handling full-court pressure a lot better now.
6’6 CG Isiah Harwell || JM Elite || 2025 ||
Isiah is still developing which is quite impressive with how good he is now regardless of what age group he is playing in. Isiah sets up his defender to allow him to do what he wants with the ball. He was often blitz but he found ways to find his teammates or simply dribble through pressure. really good low dribble that he can lift and change levels on.
6’0 PG Ace Reiser Ace Reiser 6'0" | PG Alta | 2024 State UT || Bingham High School || 2024 ||
I think Ace open up a lot of eyes this weekend with his overall skill and especially his ball handling as many tried to cover him the entire length of the court and they were quickly made aware that it isn’t that easy to cover him that much ground. Ace is elite at using his angles and countering moves from the defense. Ace has a strong left hand as many tried to push him that way but he is able to use various dribbling techniques to get free. Ace split a couple traps but he impressed the most with his back and forth change of pace and speed. He has got to be one of the shiftiest players we have here in Utah.
6’1 PG || Cole Roberts Cole Roberts 6'1" | CG Cedar Valley | 2023 State UT || Cedar Valley High School || 2023 ||
Cole is a little hidden gem that is tucked back on the westside out in Cedar Valley. This kid is a downhill PG that can move as he picks up speed he is fast with the ball in his hands. He really uses that elite handle to break players down and draw two and kick which helps his teammates get good looks. Cole is a player that those small schools should really be looking at.
6’1 G Zuriel Marquez Zuriel Marquez 6'2" | CG Juan Diego Catholic | 2023 State UT || Utah Hype || 2023 ||
Shifty and tough left to right cross and he has a quick first step that often turn into a leap forward that gets him by defenders. He is tough with the ball in his hands when he is making moves. Plays on or off the ball which can help him at the next level not always being at the PG position.
