The premier high school event of the summer, the 2022 IHSAA/IBCA Charlie Hughes Showcase, will tip-off on Friday at 4:00 p.m. with 132 teams coming to Carmel High School and Westfield High School. This showcase is absolutely loaded with the best teams and prospects that the state of Indiana has to offer. Also, with it being a live recruiting period, college coaches will be out in full force taking in the action. Our Prep Hoops Indiana staff will have boots on the ground at both locations this weekend and will be bringing preview content heading into Friday evening. Here are the top 10 prospects that will be participating this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id="1363488" first="Flory" last="Bidunga"] (Kokomo H.S. 2024): Those of us in the Hoosier state became aware of this 6’10" star big man early on last high school season. Then, he became a national name early in the spring with several great performances with Indiana Elite on the 3SSB Circuit. He is one of the top big men in the class of 2024 holding offers from Bradley, Creighton, and Wake Forest currently. College coaches will be out in full force this weekend for Bidunga.

[player_tooltip player_id="868219" first="Xavier" last="Booker"] (Cathedral H.S. 2023): No prospect in the country had a bigger spring than Booker. He jumped into the Top 10 of every major recruiting ranking, is a consensus 5-star prospect, and has blue blood offers from the likes of Duke and Kansas. The 6’11" forward is fresh off his fifth junior year official visit to Notre Dame.

[player_tooltip player_id="868259" first="Joey" last="Brown"] (North Central H.S. 2023): Still pretty freshly back from injury, Brown immediately returned to his prior form as a versatile playmaker and defender on the perimeter. At 6’6" on the wing he is an excellent passer, can get to the rim off of the dribble, and finishes well with his athleticism and size around the basket. Can guard multiple positions defensively as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="868229" first="Myles" last="J. Colvin"] (Heritage Christian 2023): The Purdue commit is a Top 100 national prospect with tremendously high upside. Colvin is an absolutely elite athlete that pairs that with excellent perimeter shooting ability. Coming off of strong performances with the Indiana Junior All-Star team, he will look to continue his summer on the big stage at Charlie Hughes.

[player_tooltip player_id="1391463" first="Garwey" last="Dual"] (Carmel H.S. 2023): Dual has emerged as one of the best playmaking guards around and officially blew up in the spring earning some high-major offers. He committed to Providence on Sunday.

[player_tooltip player_id="1297052" first="Jalen" last="Haralson"] (Fishers H.S. 2025): There aren’t many freshmen in the country on the level of Haralson. He appears to be a legitimate 6’7" now with the same point guard skills as before. Elite passer, very athletic, improving as a shooter, and gets to the rim consistently off the bounce. Special prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id="868240" first="Joey" last="Hart"] (Linton-Stockton H.S. 2023): Hart emerged this spring as one of the top scorers on the UAA Circuit and has long been known as one of the best shooters in Indiana. The 6’5" wing has gotten a run of mid-major offers recently with plenty of other schools, including high-majors, circling. He will be watched closely this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id="868255" first="Logan" last="Imes"] (Zionsville H.S. 2023): Imes, a Penn State commit, shot the ball really well during the Indiana All-Star series for the Core Junior squad. His two-way ability makes him one of the top prospects in the state and will be a preseason front runner for Mr. Basketball this season. Great floor general.

[player_tooltip player_id="868224" first="JaQualon" last="Roberts"] (Bloomington H.S. North 2023): When you mix a 6’7" athletic frame with good overall ball skills you get one heck of a prospect. That is what Roberts brings to the table. He attacks closeouts well, has improved as a shooter, and finishes at the rim at a high percentage.

[player_tooltip player_id="1297118" first="Trent" last="Sisley"] (Heritage Hills H.S. 2025): Another elite Class of 2025 prospect in Indiana, Sisley had offers from Indiana and Purdue before ever playing a high school game. The versatile 6’7" forward is fluid with the ball, finishes well around the basket, and can shoot it out to three-point range. Outstanding prospect.
