Utah teams will be in full-force in a few days as they invade Arizona for Section 7 and there are a lot of talented players that will be playing in-front of plenty of college coaches. Here are a few teams and players that will be fun to watch.

Corner Canyon vs. Perry (AZ)

This is going to be a really good test for CCHS as they do have a lot of pieces in place that can get them ready for a good run next season. [player_tooltip player_id="934040" first="Max" last="Toombs"] is a tough guard that can score from all over the floor. He is a leader out there and you pair him up with 6’7 W [player_tooltip player_id="1056969" first="Brody" last="Kozlowski"] and you really open up the floor with his shooting and sheer size to shoot over players. Brody has also improved his overall game, especially in the post. [player_tooltip player_id="1116143" first="Jaxon" last="Roberts"] could be a big difference maker as he has some size at the PG position and some skill.

Davis vs. Liberty (AZ)

Davis is a whole new team with some new players looking to make their name and get Davis back to a power sooner than later. This is a great opportunity for them to really get some of these players experience. 2025 6’2 G [player_tooltip player_id="1272410" first="Coleman" last="Atwater"] is a good young prospect in the making up north at Davis. Look for Coleman to try and take on some of the new added load of responsibilities on the offensive end of the floor and the defensive end as well.

Layton Christian vs. Apollo (AZ)

LCA should compete against anyone that comes their way they have some really good players and they go deep. Youngster Tyrin Jones at 6’5 and a Class of 2025 is a nice player to really watch as he has a solid game. Soulemayne Barro is going to attract some coaches because he has the size and he also can play multiple positions. LCA also goes deep

Lone Peak vs. Estrella Foothills (AZ)

Lone Peak had a good showing this past weekend and they continue to put in work and the player that has been really impressive on their roster is [player_tooltip player_id="1146663" first="Ike" last="Staley"]. This kid is a big time athlete as he plays QB on the football team and is about 6’6 and he has some muscle on him. He plays with physicality and he is trying to dunk on you as well. Lone Peak has some more young talent looking to make a splash.

Olympus vs. Bishop Montgomery (CA)

This is a big time matchup for Olympus as Bishop Montgomery has a rich history of D1 players and pro players that have come through their basketball program. With that said it is going to be tough to stop sharp shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id="1057034" first="Dutch" last="Dowdell"] as he can really shoot the ball with the best of them. Then you have [player_tooltip player_id="1057020" first="Jordan" last="Barnes"] who is under-recruited but he is one of the toughest PG’s out there and he can score too. Both of these players will be surrounded with shooting and high IQ players.
