Nicholas Randall (Vashon): It was a coming out party for the talented 6’8" 2025 forward as he showcased the versatile skill set of a future high-major prospect. He has soft hands and smooth moves in the low post and he could pass well out of a double team. He was backing down defenders and hitting turnaround jumpers from the mid-range area. He also knocked down a few 3-pointers and threw down several dunks in traffic. He was also a good rim protector as he made good rotations over to block shots with his length. He had already picked up an offer from Missouri, but he also got a Kansas State offer.

[player_tooltip player_id="1283992" first="Trevor" last="Reed"] (John Burroughs): The 6’5" 2023 forward has emerged during the spring with his strong play and that continued throughout the showcase. He was strong in the low post with patient moves that led to jump hooks and turnaround jumpers inside. He hit the boards hard and could also lead the break after grabbing a rebound. He can also stretch the floor with his excellent 3-point shooting, which is ideal for the pick and pop.

Tyreek Brooks (Waynesville): A 6’3" 2024 shooting guard who was very active and energetic throughout the day with good quickness and athleticism. His first step was very quick as he got by defenders to score on twisting drives to the basket. He operated well in tight spaces with his shifty handles. He complimented his slashing ability with some good shooting from 3-point range.

[player_tooltip player_id="1162927" first="Camden" last="Bennett"] (St. Joe Lafayette): The 6’3" 2023 guard displayed his physicality throughout the event as he scored on several strong takes to the basket. He’s athletic and he did his best work in the lane as he sought the contact and finished well in traffic. He could also hit the open 3-pointer if defenders backed off of him. I also liked that he was willing to take charges on defense, which he did on a number of occasions.

[player_tooltip player_id="1422771" first="Exavier" last="Wilson"] (Jefferson City): The 5’10" 2025 point guard is an excellent floor leader with good quickness, scoring ability and a very high basketball IQ. He stays under control and he doesn’t get sped up, which is impressive for a young guard. He is also a very good shooter with a nice mid-range jumper and 3-point shooting range off the catch and coming off a high ball screen.

Romelo Smith (Raytown): A 5’10" point guard from Raytown did an excellent job of distributing the basketball to his teammates throughout the camp. He was making sure the bigs got the ball in the low post and he was dropping dimes in the transition game. He has good speed and quickness, but he is so smooth with it that you don’t realize he’s blowing by defenders. In addition to his decision making, he can make perimeter shots from 3-point range when needed.

[player_tooltip player_id="1269938" first="Alex" last="Gunnels"] (North Kansas City): The 5’10" 2023 point guard displayed good defensive intensity has he constantly picked up opposing ball handlers all over the court. He used his speed and quickness to be very disruptive with his on-ball pressure. He was effective with his dribble penetration on the offensive end with the ability to hit the pull up jumper.
