played a great game vs Las Cruces Saturday afternoon. Despite the loss to Las Cruces, Jalin led the game in scoring and showed off his three-point shooting from long-range. He had several pull-up jumpers in the game which led to his drives inside the paint. Jalin made it to the free throw line consistenly and was agressive the entire game.

played a huge role in the Las Cruces win vs Los Lunas. He provided excellent shooting and scoring while leading Las Cruces to their victory. David was one of the teams leading scorers in the game and made several three-point shots. He had the play of the game when their was about 10 seconds left on the clock, the game was tied and he made a pull-up three pointer that ended up being the game winner vs Los Lunas.
Suge Valles– 5’9 Point Guard “Las Cruces” Class of 2024
Suge Valles was the engine for Las Cruces High School during their win vs Los Lunas in the Duke City Shootout. He did an exceptional job running the offense and showed good leadership on both ends of the floor. Suge was agreesive looking for his shot and did a very nice job creating plays for others.
Isaiah Maldonado– 5’7 Point Guard “Albuquerque” Class of 2024
Isaiah Maldonado was the best player on the court during the teams win vs Mayfield. He led the game in scoring with over 20 points and made five three-pointers in the game. Isaiah set the tone too start the game and was agressive looking for his shot early. His scoring led to his playmaking for his teammates and he did a nice job getting them involved. Isaiah was the differnce maker in the game.
Marquise Renfro– 6’1 Guard “Atrisco Heritage” Class of 2024
For the second straight night, Marquise Renfro was the best player on the court for Atrisco Heritage during their win against Roswell. He brought energy from the beginning and was the teams leading scorer in the victory. Marquise made a pair of three-pointers but most of his points came from inside the paint with his drives to the basket. He scored some points from his play on the defensive end by forcing turnovers and turning them into layups on the other end. Marquise has been one of the best players from this tournament so far.
Chris Parra– 6’0 Point Guard “Atrisco Heritage” Class of 2023
Chris Parra was one of the top performers in the Duke City Shootout for the second consecutive night in a row. He is best known for his limitless-range three point shooting, but in this game, he beat you with his craftiness attacking the basket. Chris did a good job finishing at the rim and playing through the contact inisde the paint. He also did a good job being a playmaker for his teammates and setting them up on offense.

once again played a key role for Atrisco Heritage in their win Saturday evening vs Roswell. He provided scoring for Atrisco Heritage and was another threat on the floor with his athletic ability getting to the rim. Despite being one of the smallest on the court with his size, he made up for it with his resilience and heart for the game. Latavious made it inside the paint easily and played solid on the defensive end of the floor.
