Corey Graham UA Rise held a tournament this weekend in Buffalo NY that had plenty of prospects at every age. The prospects below were the best at the event and some of the best in Upstate NY. Here are your varsity level standouts.

[player_tooltip player_id="1379224" first="Jaiden" last="Harrison"] 6’3 PG Bishop Timon 2024 - Harrison was the easily the MVP this weekend. Harrison, the best player at the event who recently picked up his first Division 1 offer from Fairfield, showed he was very deserving with his ability to create shots in the isolation, finish through contact, and facilitate for others. What impressed most about Jaiden was his ability to knock down threes at a high clip. Over the weekend, contested or uncontested, he shot well above 40% from three in all four games I watched of him.

Kydale Staten 6’4 SG Health Science 2024 - Staten is a very under-the-radar prospect who showed that he shouldn’t be this weekend. Staten was the best shooter at the event this weekend. At 6’4, Staten was a true knockdown shooter; while watching, I can’t remember a miss from this kid. Smooth jump shot with a quick release in traffic. Multiple times throughout the weekend was able to get out in transition and finish above the rim. A steal for a program at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id= "1203465" first= "Ryan" last= "Heath"] 6’0 PG Irondequoit 2023 - Heath has been fantastic all spring long and has turned into a great playmaker. Heath created for others without a problem while still getting his typical scoring averages. Heath got into any lane he wanted and was able to make any pass you would expect of a high-level PG. His playmaking did not limit his scoring averages due to Heaths well developed three-point shot, He knocked down 3 3’s a game this weekend, and his shot is flowing nicely.

[player_tooltip player_id="1386999" first="Greyson" last="Trubia"] 6’7 F Suffield Academy 2024 - [player_tooltip player_id="1386999" first="Greyson" last="Trubia"] has been really coming into his own and using his genetic gifts to his advantage. The 6’7 F was everywhere this weekend, and his presence was made known as he blocked shots, shot the three-ball, and had multiple dunks over defenders this weekend. Trubia is a skilled forward who can guard bigger forwards but is a matchup nightmare on the other end. His post footwork is something to watch out for, as his elite skillset showed all weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id="1379249" first="Xavier" last="Gissendanner"] 6’3 SG Irondequoit 2023 - Gissendanner looked good in our first time seeing him since the high school season. He’s gotten stronger and developed a better jump shot as well. This weekend, he played a primary guard role as his team struggled with the ball Gissendanner used his size and strength to control the game when guarded by smaller guards. He has nice size at the shooting guard position. If he develops his ball-handling skill can truly be a next-level option for teams in need of a do it all player.
