Caleb Hollenbeck Caleb Hollenbeck 6'3" | PG St. Thomas More | 2023 State SD 2023: St. Thomas More
Caleb played excellent basketball on both ends of the floor. He was a true floor general on the floor for the Cavaliers, hit tough shots even with defenders in his face, and consistently defended at a high level. Don’t be surprised when Caleb has a huge year for STM this upcoming season.
Griffen Goodbary 2025: Sioux Falls Christian
Griff is one of the many good sophomores at Sioux Falls Christian. Every time I see him it seems as if he’s grown another inch. Currently, he’s roughly 6’5’’ and he’s not done growing. Goodbary did a little bit of everything for the Charger squad. He defended multiple positions, scored at different levels, and rebounded ever well. Griff will be a big piece for SFC as they compete to appear in yet another state tournament next year.
Nic Gaspar Nic Gaspar 6'2" | SG Dell Rapids St. Mary | 2024 State SD 2024: Dell Rapids St. Mary
Nic was one of the best athletes that were at the team camp. The Cardinals played with a ton of energy and he was a major catalyst for that style of play. Nic showcased his athleticism multiple times while out in transition.
Porter Ihnen Porter Ihnen 6'5" | CG Lennox | 2024 State #318 Nation SD 2024: Lennox
Porter had a tremendous camp for the Lennox Orioles. Throughout the camp, he showed how he can score at every level. This included multiple 3pt shots made in every one of his games. What sets Porter apart from other elite scorers is his vision. When he couldn’t get a clean look, he’s find open teammates for easy shots. Porter was Second Team All-State last year, but if he continues to improve, he’ll put himself in the conversation for best player in Class A.
Randy Rosenquist Randy Rosenquist 6'0" | PG Dakota Valley | 2023 State SD 2023: Dakota Valley
Randy was an absolute energizer for the Class A State Champs. He was in complete control of the tempo when he was on the floor. There’s not much that Randy didn’t do. He scored, found open teammates, and even took charges. Randy is an underrated defender. He is a complete ball hawk and does a great job at bothering his opponents. I expect Randy Rosenquist Randy Rosenquist 6'0" | PG Dakota Valley | 2023 State SD to have another tremendous season for the Panthers.
