Spring is here and that can only mean one thing. It’s Circuit Season! The Prephoops Circuit is upon us. I will be covering and providing exposure for the Hustle Region Circuit. The Hustle Region Circuit consists of AAU Programs from California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Utah, Montana, Idaho, Colorado, and New Mexico. The circuit features 10 stops including the Hustle Region Final in Irvine July 15th – 17th. Stop 6 brings us to the Pacific Northwest and Centralia, Washington where 46 teams will compete all under one roof at the NW Sports Hub. This event featured a ton of really good Floor Generals. In this article, we take a look at the top Point Guards from the event.

[player_tooltip player_id="674435" first="DaeKwon" last="Watson"] 5’10 PG Seattle Stars 2022 (#34PHWA 2022) - The more I watched Watson the more he grew on me. I’m a huge fan of guys that play hard, and he gave maximum energy in every game I watched. He’s a downhill driver, that relentlessly attacked the basket. The Montana St Northern commit defended his position and defeated opponents off the bounce, showing the ability to finish in traffic around the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id="674438" first="Maleek" last="Arington"] 6’2 PG Seattle Stars 2022 (#2PHWA 2022) - What’s not to love about Arington, the PG was electrifying this weekend, reminding everyone why he’s one of the top PGs on the West Coast. He controls the entire game with his decision-making and shot selection. He is athletic and showed a quick burst when attacking the basket. The Idaho St Signee, showed off a multitude of elite skills this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id="929029" first="Jordan" last="Clark"] 6’2 PG Emerald City Basketball Academy 2023 (#75PHWA 2023) - Clark’s offensive bag can only be described as elite. He has a good handle, and the ability to create separation off the bounce. The PG displayed a smooth game this weekend, using stop and starts to create space. He shot it well, preferring to use a rhythm dribble for most of his three-point attempts.

Jordan Bailey 6’1 PG Fuego 2023 - Loved Bailey’s ability to get to the cup. The PG was an absolute blur this weekend, and could not be stopped from getting into the paint. I felt as if he was playing with maximum ball speed at all times, as Bailey gobbled up real estate on the court. The PG was able to blow by defenders at ease, getting easy layups in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id="1232311" first="Jacey" last="Canalin"] 5’6 PG Deny 2024 (#15PHO 2024) - Canalin had one weakness this weekend... his height. As for the things he could control, he was pretty good. The lefty shot the ball well in catch-and-shoot action and had the ball on a string. It seemed as if he was always being trapped, however, he would calmly either split it or make the next pass. His awareness and IQ made him one of the better Floor Generals I watched this weekend.

Justus Walker PG Team Anderson Elite 2023 - I saw TAE play on Saturday and they had a bunch of guys that could go. Then they added Walker. The PG displayed some of the most advanced finishing moves I saw during the weekend, showing the ability to get to the cup at will. He loved to use Euros and 1-2 steps to elude defenders and successfully completed most plays after doing so. Walker is a good tempo-changing guard that provided a pace for his team to be successful.

[player_tooltip player_id="1315389" first="Brayden" last="Smith"] 5’11 PG Seattle Stars 2022 - The Stars weren’t lacking for PGs this weekend. Smith was another weapon for the squad, providing additional ballhandling and on-ball defense. His best skill was his finishing, as Smith did a terrific job of giving contact on his way to the bucket, shedding defenders before finishing.

Khaleb Chisolm PG Special Ops 2023 - I could have put Chisolm on my all-motor team, however, I didn’t want to ignore his PG traits. The hard-charging PG was a terror when attacking downhill. He defended his position well and was most effective offensively when he could get paint touches. He has a strong frame and showed the ability to finish through contact.

For Exclusive Content With Top Prospects
