<p>Prep Hoops Missouri just released its newly updated Class of 2023 rankings. Here is a look at a group of newcomers who have entered the rankings.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1440454" first="Cameron" last="Manyawu"] (Staley): A 6'8 forward who is starting to emerge as a prime prospect this spring. He was a key reserve for Staley's Class 6 third-place team high energy play around the basket. He is an effective scorer and rebounder inside with shot blocking skills. His burgeoning perimeter skill set has started to come to the forefront, which has taken his game to another level.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1443783" first="Tyler" last="King"] (Parkway West): A 6'2" shooting guard who is an effective slashing threat with excellent finishing ability at the rim. He is tremendous in the transition game. He averaged 15.5 points a game while shooting 52 percent from the field in leading the Longhorns to a 24-3 record.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1440474" first="Matt" last="Haefner"]: (Lafayette): A versatile 6'7" small forward who has good athleticism and versatility. He averaged 16.7 points and eight rebounds a game as a junior. He had a breakout performance of 37 points in a victory over Francis Howell in December, which included a game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1440453" first="Kendrick" last="Bell"] (Park Hill): A 6'3" shooting guard who has some explosive athleticism to go along with his ability to score. He averaged 14.7 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals a game as a junior. He is an excellent football prospect as well.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1269938" first="Alex" last="Gunnels"] (North Kansas City): A 5'11" point guard who has impressive speed and quickness to go along with a nice overall floor game. He averaged seven points, three rebounds, four assists and two steals a game in helping NKC to a 20-6 record. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1440686" first="Ethan" last="Fauss"] (Clayton): A solid 6'7" two-way forward with a good skill set and the ability to stretch the floor with his 3-point shooting. As a junior, he averaged 13.5 points while making 36 percent from 3-point range. He also impacts the game on the defensive end with three blocks a game as well as seven rebounds.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1383073" first="Anthony" last="Westervelt"] (Seckman): A 6'3" wing guard who is a productive player at both ends with his excellent athleticism and high motor. He can get downhill on the drive very well to finish at the rim. He averaged 14 points, seven rebounds and two steals in leading the Jaguars to a 16-8 record.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1433310" first="Jay" last="Ball"] (Thomas Jefferson): A 6'6" forward from Thomas Jefferson who was a force in the small school ranks as he led the Titans to the Class 1 state quarterfinals. He is a strong young man at 240 pounds and he knows how to use his size effectively inside. He averaged 17 points and 12 rebounds a game as a junior.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1440493" first="Jaylen" last="Swinney"] (Ladue): A 6'6" forward who plays a very solid and productive game inside with his high rate of activity. He rebounds out of his area well and he runs the court well. He was a consistent double-double during the season as he averaged 10 points and 10 rebounds a game.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1440476" first="Amari" last="Foluke"] (Metro): A 6'0" point guard with good quickness and the ability to create his own shot with his slick handles and escape moves. He emerged as a top scoring threat as he averaged 25 points a game to lead the St. Louis metro area. He also averaged three rebounds, two assists and three steals a game.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1440456" first="Steve" last="Samuels"] (Jefferson City): A 5'11" point guard who put together an excellent junior season for the Jays. He has solid quickness to beat defenders with dribble penetration and he can also hit the open 3-pointer. He is also a sit-down defender. He averaged 12 points, three rebounds and three assists a game.</p>
