Chiang Ring Chiang Ring 6'8" | C Park Center | 2024 State #276 Nation MN 2024 6’9 MPLS South High School, MN (Minnesota Spartans 2024)
Chiang is an athletic forward with all of the tools to become a dominant forward at the next level with his ability to move his feet and fight in the paint. I was very impressed by his nonstop energy that he displayed, he has an incredibly high motor that allows him to consistently fight for positioning and run the floor for easy opportunities. He has great defensive instincts to come over as a help defender, and is great at using his length to high point the ball to come away with blocks and rebounds. His length allows him to have an opportunity on throwing any shot that gets taken in the paint far into the stands. I was very impressed by his ability to do all of the dirty work down low, while also playing at the high post and alongside another 6’10 big man. He has a high basketball IQ that allows him to pick his spots on where he wants to attack.
Emiliano Barrantes 2025 6’10 Grandview Christian School. IA (Minnesota Spartans 2024)
Emiliano is a high level forward with elite defensive instincts and a real ability to protect the rim. He anchors his team’s defense through his shot blocking ability. I was very impressed by his ability to be patient down low and time up his leaps to reject shots in the paint. He moves incredibly well for his size, and if he continues to develop ball skills he can become an elite forward at the next level. He is agile enough to defend players on the perimeter with his quick feet, and with his patience and awareness down low he takes away shot opportunities for other bigs.
Dapriya Briggs 2024 6’6 Ridgepoint High School, TX (Next Level Elite 2024)
Dapriya is a consistent big/wing player who can play across all three levels of the floor on both ends of the court. He is great down low, but has quick feet that allows him to defend players on the perimeter. He is a very aware defensive player, who willingly boxes out an opponent every time a shot goes up. He knows how to end defensive possessions by snatching a rebound. I was very impressed by his ability to play down low, but also pick apart the defense with his passes up the court. He consistently made the right outlet passes after snatching defensive rebounds. He made two picture perfect 3/4 court passes that hit his teammates in stride as the streaked down the court for easy fast break opportunities.
Jace Palacios 2024 5’8 Steven High School, TX (San Antonio King Hoops 2024)
Jace is a sharp shooting guard with a lightning quick release who operates very well out of the corners. He moves without the basketball, and makes good decision without the ball. He was always ready to catch and shoot, with his hands ready to catch the ball and quickly go up with it. In a game I watched him in, he hit five threes in such rapid succession the defense did not know what to do with him. I would like to see him work on his ability to put the ball on the floor and threaten the defense off the bounce.
Koreyan Davis Koreyan Davis 6'6" | SF North Crowley | 2024 State TX 2024 6’5 North Crowley High School, TX (Tarrant Elite 2024)
Koreyan is a high level wing who has the ability to play small ball center if necessary or attack off the bounce with his size and prowess with a live dribble. I was very impressed with his ability to score from all three levels of the floor. He is a confident shooter out of the corners, and uses the triple threat well to create space within the half court. The reason he is a dominant player is his ability to play on the defensive end of the floor, he has active hands and uses all of his athletic ability to wreak havoc on defense. Whether he was poking the ball free from his opponents or rejecting shots in the paint, Davis always had his hands involved in the play. I loved his ability to go coast to coast after forcing a turnover or block!
