Joe Sayler Joe Sayler 6'4" | SG White River | 2023 State #295 Nation SD 6’3’’ Pentagon Schoolers 17u Vincent
This South Dakota State commit is a blast to watch. Joe can score on every level and has the green light on virtually any shot. Look for Joe to be one of the leading scorers in each of their games.
Oli Vincent 6’1’’ Pentagon Schoolers 17u Vincent
Oli is one of the top point guards in his class. He’s shifty and extremely difficult to stay in front of and he has a great passing vision when the help defenders step in. Throughout the past couple of years, it’s clear that Oli has also improved on his range.
Brayden Pankonen Brayden Pankonen 5'11" | PG Dell Rapids | 2023 State SD 5’11’’ Pentagon Schoolers 17u Maschino
“B” is one of the top shooters in the Series. People watching can be assured he’ll put up 8-10 3pt attempts a game and every one of them has a chance to go in. Personally, my favorite part of his game that I enjoy watching is his passing ability once he gets past his defender.
Gavin Muirhead Gavin Muirhead 6'7" | PF O'gorman | 2023 State SD 6’7’’ Pentagon Schoolers 17u Walker
Gavin caught my attention last week at the “Battle At The Lakes.” His athleticism is rare to find at his size. Muirhead will most certainly be one of the league leaders in dunks.
Matt Eng Matt Eng 6'0" | PG O’gorman | 2023 State SD 6’2’’ Pentagon Schoolers 17u Walker
Matt’s entire game is based around being an elite 3pt shooter. If he’s wide open for 3, it’s essentially a layup. On top of that, Matt is very efficient with his 1 dribble and 2 dribble pull-ups. He has a simple, but an extremely effective skill set that is fun to watch.
Alec Squires Alec Squires 6'10" | C Sioux Valley | 2024 State #280 Nation SD 6’10’’ Pentagon Schoolers 16u Vincent
Alec is one of the few players you see in South Dakota who is dunking from the “dunkers spot.” At a true 6’10’’, it’s hard to stop him at the rim when he gets a full head of steam.
Matt Anderson 6’5’’ Pentagon Schoolers 16u Vincent
Matt is a player who takes pride on the defensive end. He does a great job at keeping players in front and then bothering shots with his length. Offensively, Matt uses that length with his great mid-range game and finishing at the rim.
