1st Team
Jeremiah Deering | 6’5 F | RSE Basketball 2024 Black
“Walking double double”, is what his coaches call him, and I can see why. The 6’5 forward is bouncy and athletic. He was open in a lot of pick and rolls. Puts himself in position for rebounds on both ends. Threw down some huge dunks all weekend, including a poster for an and-1. Had 20 points along with 14 rebounds in his teams 73-33 win in the Bronze Championship. Below is the link to Deerings and-1 poster.
Noah Clark | 6’7 W/F | Oklahoma Ignite 2024
6’7 long guard with a lot of length. Snagged a couple handfuls of boards on the defensive end and blocked quite a few shots. Moves like a guard with the ball in his hands. Had a few pick and rolls, primarily pick and pops. Big time range for this kid. Showed off some vision late in second half with some high IQ dimes, looking off his opponents and hitting his teammates for easy shots. Lot of versatility in this kids game.
Jacob Emmers Jacob Emmers 6'0" | PG Anna | 2024 TX | 6’0 G | Victory Academy 2024 Gold
By far one of the most polished guards in the gym this weekend. Defensively just sticks on you like glue, doesn’t give you much room to do much. Offensively didn’t shoot it from deep much but he can score at the rim. Attacks hard, then decelerates on his finishes. Uses his frame to body smaller guards. High IQ, knew when to pull up and drop in a floater, tight handle, overall very solid guard with a bright future.
Tucker Shephard | 6’3 W | Next Level Oklahoma 2024
Absolute deadeye of a shooter. Shephard has some range and can absolutely bury it from deep. Real quick release and gets to his spots. You can not leave him open. Will be effective in pick and pop situations. He was the tallest guy on the floor for his team so he did get after some rebounds and had some tip outs. This is one prospect you have got to get a hand up on.
James Murray IV James Murray IV 6'6" | CG Denver East | 2025 State CO (2025) | 6’5 G | Rising Stars 2024
For a 2025 playing 16u this kid can hoop. Consistent 3 level scorer with some length. Played more wing but can handle it. Shoots it well from deep, mid-range threat, but can finish at the rim above the defense. He just took over for his team in the second half. Definitely a name you’ll hear a lot in the next 3 years.
2nd Team
Malachi Drake | 6’2 G | Victory Academy 2024 Gold
DeMarcus Howard | 5’9 G | Northwest Houston Elite 2024
Trent Patterson | 5’9 G | Victory Academy 2024 White
Hayden Henry | 6’6 W | RSE Basketball 2024 Black
Gabe Avelar | 5’11 G | Oklahoma Ignite 2024
