Korbin Kinder stood out as a natural floor general with full control of the offense and the tempo of the game, whenever teams played fast he knew how to slow the game down and set his offense up. Kinder was very smart with the ball and spectacular without the ball, he stayed on the move cutting baseline, rotating the arc, and popping up to the wing for a catch and shoot jumpshot where he displayed a smooth shooting stroke and deep range. Korbin proved to be capable of knocking down spot-up three-pointers in an efficient manner. With the ball in hand, Kinder did a fantastic job of keeping his teammates involved and consistently setting his squad up with throws that led them right into a bucket. With all that said, Korbin’s most impressive skillset has got to be his insanely high motor and unlimited amounts of energy, this kid doesn’t quit and makes sure to make himself a part of every possession, he lays out for loose balls and battles with bigs for rebounds and often comes up successful.
Omar Morales | Shooting Guard | South Florida Blackhawks 2026
Omar Morales showed his worth with his dynamic shooting prowess and knack for spotting up in the right corner or short-corner. Morales looked to let it fly the moment the ball touched his hands and whenever the defense began to close out and stop him from getting the shot up Morales attacked the baseline blowing by his defender with his first step or a spin move before finishing the play at the rim. He also scored at a high rate in transition by quickly leaking out any time a shot went up. On the defensive end, he showed great hands, feet, and use of his body, Omar absorbed contact to the chest and kept his hands high or moved backward pulling the chair right from under his man.
Conner Brooks | Forward | Austin, TX | Nike ProSkills Austin 2027
Big and versatile offensive weapon who was capable of getting a bucket whether he was playing on or off the ball, showing the ability to create off the dribble and set up from three for the spot-up jumper. Conner Brooks is a high motor point forward with an even higher basketball IQ along with great intangibles, the offense went as he did and everything ran through him on a play-to-play basis. Terrific floor spacer with a wide range of skills, Brooks had a way of drastically impacting the game due to his knack for passing and cutting, as well as screening, and relocating unprompted.
Coby Helpley | Point Guard | El Paso, TX | Nike ProSkills El Paso 2027
Coby Helpley proved to be a super active and aggressive ballplayer on both ends of the floor. Defensively, he boxed out someone on every shot attempt despite the size differential and he also kept a hand in the passing lane threatening to steal every throw that came his way. Offensively, Helpley contributed with his high percentage three-point shooting that made teams regret allowing Coby to catch it and shoot it in rhythm with his fast shooting motion and snappy release, showcasing talent in playing and creating both on the ball as the point guard and as an off-screen sharpshooter. The lefty was capable of getting his own shot due to his quick-twitch ball-handling on the dribble drive but was at his best when he was able to pass and relocate to an open spot waiting for the dish.
Ledger Merritt | Guard/Forward | El Paso, TX | Nike ProSkills El Paso 2027
Ledger Merritt did it all, and he did it all with a full-speed sprint to everything. Merritt covered ground and contested shots like a mad man, he cut to the basket at the most opportune times, he proved to be a first to the floor type of player that’s willing to sacrifice his body for the ball, Ledger heavily competed on the boards and if he didn’t get the rebound he didn’t allow his man to get it either, he threw good quick and crisp passes that either went right into his teammates shooting pocket or led them into a layup, and Merritt even nailed the occasional spot-up three from time to time, showing all of the makings of a high motor all-around contributor.
