SubscribeFayetteville, AR — The Collision in the Ville brought the competitive spirit out of everyone. This event was filled with thriller games, buzzer beaters, shocking upsets, high-speed talent, elite ball-handlers, deadly sharpshooters, unstoppable bucket getters, and dominant postmen. Here take a look at the most remarkably talented jump shooters from each age group.
Bryson Myers | Cedarville, AR | Hoyas Elite 2028
Bryson Myers played a major role in the Hoyas being one of the best jump-shooting teams of them all. Myers snapped the net the same way from the same spot with his dangerous shooting stroke from deep, showing great consistency as a shot-maker and a knack for heating up in a hurry.
Kannen Russell | Van Buren, AR | Hoyas Elite 2028
Kannen Russell put his lights out shooting talent on full display. He was a brilliant scorer that picked and chose his spots well, Russell took his time and didn’t force his offense or shoot it when heavily contested, he did a great job of using pump fakes, side steps, and an extra pound dribble to get defenders in the air for a quick free shot.
Holt Wilson | Tulsa, OK | Tulsa Hawks 2028
Holt Wilson continuously proves to be the purest all-around jump shooter in any gym he steps foot in. Wilson consistently drilled catch-and-shoot jumpers with ease with and without a hand in his face. Wilson is almost guaranteed to make at least half of his shots in each performance. Holt Wilson never fails to show flashes of greatness from deep, his name is one to remember, he will surely become one of Oklahoma’s top three-point specialists as time goes on.
Sylijah Davis | Nixa, MO | Missouri Crush 2027
This kid has a mean stop and pop jumpshot, Davis constantly pushed the ball up the floor full speed, crossed over to get space, and stopped on a dime for his signature elbow jumper where he was money in the bank just about every time. High ceiling as a shooter, Davis’s impeccable mechanics are what leads to high efficiency. Davis did a phenomenal job of always getting his feet set and staying squared up with the basket on all shot attempts.
Kyle Pickren | Ozark, MO | Missouri Crush 2027
Kyle Pickren stood out as one of the rare knockdown mid-range shooters. This kid was on fire, even if his jumper was heavily contested or appeared to be off the mark he still managed to get the lucky bounce at times all thanks to his shooting accuracy and touch. His knack for staying on the move often led Pickren to open looks and shots from his hot spots inside in the arc. On day two, Pickren showed off another dimension to his game with his straight-line drives to the basket and scoring through traffic and hard contact.
Maddox Hamilton | Edmond, OK | Team Buddy Buckets 2027
Standout Buddy Buckets sharpshooter, Maddox Hamilton displayed a pure shooting stroke game to game. Maddox let it fly in a blink of an eye, he pulled up with a hand in his face on a regular basis with extreme confidence and no fear, every shot he took he believed it was going in. Hamilton had an array of ways to get a clean look a whenever he was able to catch the ball in rhythm he was a sure threat, you can’t allow him to step into his shot especially when he’s coming down the floor on the right-wing. Although Maddox Hamilton heavily relies on the three-ball to put points on the board, these shots are good shots for him seeing as though he’s so consistent at making shots beyond the arc more than he misses.
Jake Doan | Ruston, LA | WBBP Rush 2026
Louisiana native, Jake Doan proved to be a high-volume three-point shooter with unwavering confidence that goes through the roof. The most trusted shooter on the team, Doan had the green light to shoot it when he saw fit. He puts it up with a high release, a strong follow-through, and good rotation on the ball with his eyes locked onto the rim the entire way. Not only can Jake Doan become a pure knockdown jump shooter but a corner specialist as well where he loves to shoot it, picking up the bulk of his shot attempts from the left corner.
D.J. Pedulla | Edmond, OK | Team Buddy Buckets 2026
One of Oklahoma’s finest three-point shooters has got to be D.J. Pedulla. The kid is a flat-out sniper off the catch from all areas beyond the perimeter. His ability to catch and immediately go into his shooting motion without any wasted movements was a beauty to watch, very fluid release, great looking mechanics, and a perfectly high rotation.
Hudson Onan | Edmond, OK | Team Buddy Buckets 2026
Hudson Onan displayed a lot of potential and several traits of a high-level three-point specialist with great footwork and shooting technique. Currently, Onan appears to be mastering the art of the spot-up three, showing a natural ability to prepare for the kick-out by setting his feet after sprinting to an opening or to his favorite corner.
Spencer Ruff | Bryant, AR | Legendary Athletes 2026
This three-point marksman gained the respect of every team he faced. Ruff could not be left alone for one second or else his teammates were going right to him where Spencer had no trouble putting the ball through the net before the defense knew what hit them. Ruff catches and steps into his shot with a soft one-two step before releasing. I also admired how Spencer Ruff didn‘t have just one single hot spot, every inch beyond the arc was a go-to spot for Spencer.
