Continue ReadingAs the calendar has turned from April to May the college basketball recruiting timeline has shifted as well. Most schools from Division I down to the small college level have essentially wrapped up their incoming Class of 2022 and have turned their focus to evaluating 2023 prospects. However, the transfer portal has changed the landscape of college basketball and caused plenty of ripple effects that are felt by high school prospects. There are schools at every level that experienced roster turnover all the way to the May 1st deadline and therefore are still actively searching to fill out their recruiting class. This has led to more prospects being available in the month of May than you would have previously seen.
Here at Prep Hoops Indiana we are going to begin a series highlighting those remaining unsigned prospects and hopefully help connect them with college programs that will meet their hopes and desires. After beginning with the point guard position, we also outlined the shooting guard position as well as small forwards. We then began this week by taking a look at the state’s best remaining power forwards and now will finish with the centers.
Landen Babusiak Landen Babusiak 6'11" | C Bosco Institute/Indiana Connections Academy | 2022 State IN (Bosco Institute 2022)
- Ranked #31 overall in Class of 2022.
- Recently offered by Quincy and Emory & Henry. Playing spring AAU with Team GRIII Elite.
- 6’10” big man that plays well on the low block. Can finish with his back to the basket and make face-up jumpers. Protects the rim.
Antonio Lisenbee Jr. (Arsenal Tech H.S. 2022)
- Ranked #37 overall in Class of 2022.
- Bouncy 6’7″ big with length. Plays above the rim on both ends of the floor.
- Playing spring AAU with Mac Irvin Fire.
- 7.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 3.2 blockers per game.
Jaiden Malichi Jaiden Malichi 6'8" | C Cathedral | 2022 State IN (Cathedral H.S. 2022)

- Ranked #84 overall in Class of 2022.
- Was the back up 5-man on Cathedral’s 4A state title team. Plays incredibly hard. 6’7″ junk yard dog type of player. Rebounds, defends, and finishes at the rim.
Thomas Barone Thomas Barone 6'11" | C Bosco Institute | 2022 State IN (Bosco Institute 2022)
- Ranked #148 overall in Class of 2022.
- Long, thin 6’11” center. Has some raw offensive skills that are intriguing. Obviously has the necessary size.
Connor Penrod Connor Penrod 6'6" | C DeKalb | 2022 State IN (DeKalb H.S. 2022)
- Ranked #158 overall in Class of 2022.
- 6’6″ physical post. Skilled around the basket and can make open 3’s. Left-handed.
Eric Price Jr. (Gary 21st Century 2022)
- Ranked #184 overall in Class of 2022.
- 7.2 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.
- 6’7″-6’8″ left-handed big man.
