Briston Armstrong (2023, F, Truth Sports 2023, Jackson Northwest, MI)

Armstrong definitely turned some heads with his play over the weekend. He can be effective from multiple spots on the floor and is a bouncy rebounder that gets the ball strong and high.

Donte Favor (2023, F, Top 1 Basketball Club 2023 Select, Canton, MI)

Favor has a ton of upside as a player and a prospect. As of now, he’s a 4, but the potential is there to slide up to a 3 and be very effective. Favor sees the floor well and threw some nice passes from the lane.

Evan Haverkamp (2024, F, REAL 2023, McBain, MI)

Haverkamp was very impressive this weekend. He’s slick under the rim and stayed active under the rim. Haverkamp showed the ability to score facing his rim as well as with his back to the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id="1076004" first="Donovan" last="McDonald"] (2023, F, Hopson Elite 2023, Croswell-Lexington, MI)

McDonald is a very intriguing prospect. He’s a fluid moving 4 with good length that he uses well on the glass and on the defensive end. McDonald could be an elite mid range player with his soft jumper and athletic profile.

Jeffrey Rosa (2023, F, Michigan Goonies 2023, Macomb Dakota, MI)

Rosa showed that he deserves a look from some coaches at the next level. He has soft hands and really nice touch around the rim. Rosa works left to right well with his back to the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id="1425161" first="Quinton" last="Steele"] II (2022, F, Supreme Elite 2023, Groves, MI)

Steele II is a versatile forward with a college ready frame. He scored from all 3 levels and even showed the ability to hit contested jumpers. Steele II can defend both in the paint and on the perimeter.

Antwone Thurman (2023, C, Urban Impact 2023, Taylor Allderdice, PA)

Thurman is a beast under the rim. He has elite lower and upper body strength and can absolutely control the lane. Thurman’s strength forces opponents to game plan around him.

[player_tooltip player_id="1077679" first="Hutch" last="Ward"] (2023, F, Michigan Cagers 2023, Kalamazoo Central, MI)

"The [player_tooltip player_id="1077679" first="Hutch" last="Ward"] Explosion" has lasted throughout the spring and I don’t see it slowing down. He was the go to scorer for the Michigan Cagers, who proved to be one of the top teams in the gym. Ward’s stock rises weekend by weekend.
