Sandhills Machine Sophomore Guard Jaylen Sturdivant Jaylen Sturdivant 6'4" | CG Hoke | 2024 State NC was one of the best overall performers at the 2021 9DIME Fall League so it’s no surprise that he is playing at a high level during the Grassroots season. He can score the ball from the perimeter at a high level and has added to his strength and athleticism over the past few months.
East Coast All-Stars Guard Derrick Benbow played up in the 17U division and was just as dominant throughout on both ends of the floor. He’s an athletic Guard that can score the ball in bunches and plays the game with a very high motor. College coaches should go ahead and begin to track him over the next year as he is a no brainer prospect for the next level.
Team Loaded Junior Guard Freddie Dilione Freddie Dilione 6'6" | SG Word of God | 2023 #37 Nation NC continues to climb the recruiting ranks as he showed coaches from across the country that he can score the ball at a high level. Over the weekend he picked up offers from Indiana, Minnesota, Alabama, Texas A&M and Georgia State with even more programs showing interest.
Acts Elite Sophomore Guard Unique Kelly Unique Kelly 5'11" | PG West Columbus | 2024 State NC is another player that played up in the 17U Division and looked very comfortable doing so. His team was able to take home the championship for their bracket and he was one of the reasons why, using his scoring ability and athleticism to make plays.
Big Shots Junior Guard Malachi Travis Malachi Travis 6'2" | CG New Life Christian | 2023 State NC put together another productive weekend, scoring the ball at a nice rate and proving that he can get the job done against various levels of competition. Over the years he has proven himself as a player that can score the ball well from the perimeter and is now adding the slashing ability to his game.
