Elishah Ramos (DeKalb County)
Elishah is a completely new player for me. I watched almost no minutes of Dekalb County basketball this past winter. Ramos is a taller shooter, maybe 6-foot-3? His agility is interesting. Not elite, but not stiff. Ramos looks the part of a NAIA prospect. It will take some bulking up (shoulders/chest) to arrive at that level by graduation, but it is possible. Will continue to add value if he earns his way to the free throw line like he did Friday night.

Grady Parsons (Station Camp)

[player_tooltip player_id="1267383" first="AJ" last="McGehee"] (Davidson Academy)
A.J. ran the floor decently, but he needs to improve his verticality. The hustle and devotion to getting up the floor should really fit the AAU style well. His straight-line speed is ok, not elite. Defenders are going to get really irritated with the necessary defensive transition required to defend him. McGehee finished fine in the lane. During this AAU season McGehee showed that he can finish with either hand.

[player_tooltip player_id="1260610" first="Ty" last="Lannom"] (Hendersonville)
In their first game of the weekend, Ty led the team with 18 points. His shooting was always and is very good. He keeps getting better as a shooter off-the-dribble. One concern is his size. He needs, needs, needs to add some good weight. College guards are simply going to be able to body him away from these spots from which he thrives.

Kamryn Eden (Westmoreland)

B.J. Wesley (Franklin Road Academy) Class of 2024
First time seeing B.J. Wesley showed off a nice frame, strong legs, strong shoulders. He is not a tall guard midway through his high school career. Wesley will need to be kind of a Fred VanFleet, crafty, clever to maximize his chances beyond high school. Also, defense is going to be critical to prove he can play at the college level. AAU games are really a terrible place to evaluate individual defensive acumen, so this will not happen here.

T.J. Kolbe (Hendersonville)
T.J. clearly put some muscle on in the last six months. He used his shoulder well to "ride" the defender to the lane. Kolbe’s mid-range shot looks encouraging. Kolbe is capable of scoring and leading this team in scoring consistently, but his passing is good enough to indicate he is a point guard all day and all night.
