This next article gives input from Easy Street Family Threat 17U AAU basketball program. These young men group worked hard this weekend at the Hoop Group Pitt Jam Fest. We were impressed with the continuous development of this program in Pittsburgh. After talking with high school coaches, AAU coaches, college coaches, scouts, officials, and media members we here at Prep Hoops Pennsylvania have created a database of players and their AAU teams to provide information for any subscribers to our site. We do our best to promote the student-athletes that work hard on the court to achieve their goal of playing college basketball.
EASY STREET FAMILY THREAT 17U:
Mason Bolish – 6’0 – shooting guard – Laurel Highlands High School – junior class – A fundamentally sound performer that always likes to facilitate to his teammates in the half-court set. Also, pushing the ball in transition gives him an opportunity to lead the break with solid finishes at the basket for his squad. Mason works hard on the court which is evident by his extremely high IQ for the game of basketball. Jordan Brinson – 5’8 – point guard – Penn Hills High School – sophomore class – He utilizes quickness and athleticism which separates his quality performances from many of the opposing players who share the hardwood with him. Look for this young man to explode from top-notch play this spring and summer at a variety of tournaments. Jordan is ready to take his game to the next level and prove this worth. Jeffrey Johnson – 5’10 – combo guard – Geibel High School – junior class – His ball-handling skill and change of direction with the ball make him a high-level player who commands the offense for his team. On the defensive end of the floor, he flies around and utilizes his speed to create problems with steals and deflections. Jeffrey is putting forth the effort on the hardwood to become a valuable asset not only to his high school team but currently to his AAU team. Blaise Kizner – 6’0 – point guard – Laurel Highlands High School – junior class – An above-average shooter that likes to come off screens to knock down mid-range jumpers and also gets to the free-throw line with a high percentage. The assist to turnover ratio of this junior guard provides the leadership necessary for an already talented team that wins WPIAL championships. Blaise is similar to a coach on the court with his calm demeanor, high IQ, and dedication to improving his team. Jaydis Kennedy Jaydis Kennedy 6'3" | CG Geibel | 2023 State PA – 6’3 – combo guard – Geibel High School – junior class – An extremely talented and skilled combo guard that is a serious matchup on the offensive end of the court for his opponents with a balanced arsenal of dribble moves, shooting ability, and all-out hustle throughout the entire four quarters of a game. He has the length and athleticism to run the break and finish at the rim with thunderous dunks. Jaydis is developing a good amount of college recruiting interest and with a big spring/summer look for him to gather even more by the end of the AAU season.
