One team to keep an eye on in the 15U division in the Passion Region Kickoff are the Florida Kings. They went 4-0 to open things up in the PrepHoops Circuit while averaging 77.3 ppg, take a look at some names to know following their performance in Daytona Beach. They’re an intriguing group to know given their ability to play connected on both ends of the floor and play an unselfish brand of basketball. 

Janiel de Los Santos - 5’11 Guard

De los Santos is the leading name to know for the Florida Kings with his ability to fill it up from deep. He’s quite the marksman on the perimeter for this group and a prospect that can get hot in a hurry on the perimeter and can find his spots in a hurry to set his feet and put 3-points on the board. He’s a big reason for their efficient scoring weekend as they saw at least 70+ points in each of their four victories this past weekend.

Alexander Springs - 6’0 Wing/Guard

Springs is quite the two-way presence for this Florida Kings group given his athleticism and high IQ. He’s a leaper that can protect the rim and keep defenders guessing with his length and does well to find teammates in space on the perimeter for buckets as he did on numerous occasions in the Passion Region Kickoff. He’s a bouncy prospect with good upside as a "lead by example" type for this group. 

Josiah Cotto Josiah Cotto 5'7" | PG Kissimmee Osceola | 2025 FL - 5’10 Guard

Cotto is an active guard presence that showed off impressive ball skills with the Florida Kings in the Passion Region Kickoff. He blocked shots, he created turnovers and he got to his spots off the ball to show what he can do when he’s on the floor. He’s another guard to watch in their backcourt as an all-around presence.

Jeremy Penner - 5’10 Wing/Forward

Penner is quite the stretch-forward threat for the Florida Kings. He’s a prospect that’s constantly moving to open spots, whether at the top of the key or in the corner, to keep defenders on their toes with his ability to knock down shots from distance. He’s a budding name to know that can also battle in the paint and on the boards. 

Mason Fontaine Mason Fontaine 5'11" | CG Kissimmee Osceola | 2025 FL - 5’10 Guard

Fontaine is another active guard threat with quite the pedigree on the perimeter as a shooter and defender. He’s an unselfish playmaker that can force turnovers on one end and find his shooters on the other end as he did on numerous occasions in their 4-0 outing in the Passion Region Kickoff. 

Jordan Mundle Jordan Mundle 6'1" | CG Kissimmee Osceola | 2025 FL - 6’0 Forward

Mundle is the defensive anchor on the interior for the Florida Kings. He’s an emerging prospect with some muscle that’s due to show off his ability to protect the paint and be a presence around the rim this grassroots season.
