All-tournament teams from the Prep Hoops Circuit’s Madness In The Midwest:

First Team:

[player_tooltip player_id="1048378" first="Jelani" last="McGregor"] -- Illinois T-Wolves -- PG

Leading the Illinois T-Wolves to a 4-0 record in the A pool, McGregor was phenomenal in Appleton. The point guard is a prolific scorer who can get hot in a hurry. Put simply: McGregor just knows how to put the ball in the hoop. The point guard prospect is a true three-level scorer who was giving defenders issues all weekend.

AJ Uttech -- Wisconsin Academy -- SG

If there are any college programs looking for a guard that is able to make tough shots, they should look no further than Wisconsin Academy’s Uttech. The shooting guard does an outstanding job of making shots over taller defenders. No matter how closely he is guarded, Uttech is still dangerous as a scorer. He was able to put up big-time scoring numbers this past weekend in Appleton.

[player_tooltip player_id="1349129" first="Nic" last="Williams"] -- Wisconsin Playground Elite -- PG

Williams is coming off a productive junior campaign at La Crosse Central. This AAU season represents a major opportunity for Williams. And so far, he has made the most out of it. On Saturday, the point guard could not be stopped. When he wanted to score, he scored. He made shots from deep and finished well at the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id="1159876" first="Andrew" last="Soenksen"] -- Illinois T-Wolves -- PF

Soenksen was never a big-time scorer for the T-Wolves but he still was a major reason why his squad walked away with a 4-0 record. I was really impressed with the 6-foot-7 power forward as a rim protector. He did a nice job of using his long arms to block and influence the opposing squad’s shots. Soenksen was an opportunistic and efficient scorer. He didn’t take bad shots and always played within the flow of the offense.

Keenan Klitzke -- Wisconsin Crusaders -- PF

Klitzke was too much in the paint for opposing teams to handle. I loved how he didn’t shy away from contact around the hoop. He used his size to snatch rebounds on both sides of the court. It was an up and down weekend for Crusaders, but Klitzke was a constant. He always played with top-tier effort and intensity.

Second Team:

[player_tooltip player_id="1168383" first="Adam" last="Labuda"] -- Illinois T-Wolves -- SG

You know what you are getting with Labuda, there isn’t much mystery. And what you are getting is a consistent player who is very good at scoring from deep. The shooting guard has a pure stroke from three that defenders must respect.

[player_tooltip player_id="1289059" first="AC" last="Strok"] -- Wisconsin Academy -- SG

The overall game of Strok is complete. He doesn’t really have any weaknesses. The shooting guard competes hard on defense and rarely lets his man get open shots. On offense, Strok can catch fire in a short amount of game time. He has a pretty stroke from deep and also is a slick finisher at the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id="1142523" first="Jaiye" last="Famakinwa"] -- All Wisconsin AAU -- PG

Famakinwa is all heart and hustle. He stands at just 5-foot-6. But this doesn’t limit him in the slightest. Famakinwa is a very fast point guard that uses his speed to blow by defenders en route to layups. He is also a pest on defense who is always bothering opposing squad’s point guards.

Jayden Cook -- Illinois T-Wolves -- PG

Cook is an athletic, versatile point guard who really raised his stock at Madness In The Midwest. He showed an ability to knock down jumpers and get to the cup and get difficult layups to fall.

[player_tooltip player_id="1043750" first="Jamariea" last="Dalton"] -- E2E Elite -- SG

Dalton was no-doubt one of the best scorers in Appleton this past weekend. He is blazing fast in the open court and not many defenders are able to stay in front of him. The SG did a nice job of drawing fouls and getting to the free throw line on Saturday and Sunday.

Third Team:

Jon Weah -- E2E Elite -- PG

Ben Schingen -- Playmakers Premier North -- F

Carter Lulich -- Playmakers Premier North -- SG

Jack Field -- House Of Wellness All-Stars -- W

[player_tooltip player_id="1200577" first="Tyler" last="Orr"] -- Playmakers Bartig -- G
