SubscribeFortville, IN. — Indiana was the place to be this weekend for all things grassroots basketball and one of the main attractions was the Heartland Kickoff. Some of the top teams from the midwest were posted up at Mt. Vernon High School this weekend and it is now time to dish out some awards from the weekend. Below are five 14U players that made a huge impact for their teams…
Parker Elmore | Grand Park Premier Red
Elmore was the lead catalyst for his Grand Park Premier squad that ended up winning the 14U championship at the Heartland Kickoff. Elmore is a hig energy kid that is super productive on the offensive end that can score the ball in a variety ways. Whenever I saw Elmore this past weekend, there was never any wasted motion in his game.
Evan Harrell | Grand Park Premier Red
What did Harrell not do this weekend? Towering over the opposition, Harrell used his height as an advantage and was able to finish over defenders constantly at a high level. Throughout the weekend he showcased his abilities as a skilled scorer. As he continues to grow and get older, we expect Harrell to be a solid two way player.
Elexander Harris | Team Teague
I first saw Harris last July and immediately put him on my radar of top 2026 guys from the midwest and this past weekend in Indy, he backed that up. Harris is a reliable scorer that can shoot off the catch or pull up from off the dribble. Since I have last seen him, he has improved his handle which has only helped his all around game.
Will Priest | 573 Elite
Priest was one of my favorite players that I was able to evaluate this past weekend and is a prospect that I have high hopes for moving forward because of his current skill set and size. Standing at 6’3, Priest was able to move well with the ball in his hands but also knows how to move well off the ball. He can stretch to the perimeter to be a consistent three point shooter and is a guy that I can see being a very good three level scorer by the time he graduates high school.
Cam Webster | D1 Indiana
D1 Indiana is a program that always has a solid youth contingent and that is still the case this year. The 2026 guard has an advanced scoring package for his age and was scoring with absolute ease this past weekend in Indiana. There were not that many players that scored the ball better than Webster this past weekend.
