The kick off to Barber’s senior Prep Hoops Circuit summer included a 10-point performance against Oklahoma Wolfpack in a low-scoring affair. Barber has the goods — he can shoot, distribute and create for his Rogue teammates. Barber was able to penetrate the interior and slither his way between defenders to create a space to score, and he is polished with either hand. In traffic, his vision has developed tremendously, as he displayed while leading a seasoned Rogue core of players that has played together for a couple summers.
Aden Rowe Aden Rowe 6'0" | SG Edmond Memorial | 2023 OK , Oklahoma Wolfpack G, Edmond Memorial ’23
Rowe scored 12 points on four 3-pointers in a Sunday morning match against Rogue. He showcased a quick release and sound shooting mechanics; catch, set, shoot, and do it the same way each time. By spreading the floor out, Rowe gave his team more freedom to score on the interior, and Rowe further took advantage of it by driving and dishing efficiently.
Gunner Gordon, Oklahoma Wolfpack G, Pawnee ’22
Gordon displayed a fine tuned jumper and the ability to lead an offense against Rogue on Sunday morning. Gordon can manufacture the shot out of the handle and has great shooting mechanics altogether, but he is especially deadly along the perimeter.
Ryan Guerrero Ryan Guerrero 5'11" | PG Southmoore | 2023 State OK , Rogue PG, Southmoore ’23
Guerrero was best Saturday morning when penetrating the lane and dishing off to a fellow scorer. He is quick and has a good handle, and his feel for the game has come a long way since one year ago.
Breylon Owens Breylon Owens 6'4" | SG Anadarko | 2023 State OK , Oklahoma Impact G, Chickasha ’23
Owens was one of the best defenders on the floor in a Sunday morning game against Dallas Showtyme. He moves really well laterally, and he was able to successfully stay in front of some very shifty, versatile ball-handlers. Owens also shoots the ball well, though his attempts were a bit limited by Showtyme’s length.
