There are a few players playing up a grade on some good teams playing some tough schedules this Spring as well. We sneak peaked a few names a few months back and we bring back a few familiar names and maybe some new ones as well. Here is a short list of some must watch player in that Class of 2026.
6’2 Junior County Junior County 6'5" | PG Wasatch Academy | 2026 State UT || Kongo Elite ||
The CG has been suiting up with Stance Elite as well as Utah Drive and he has improved over the past few months. He is now running with Kongo Elite on a tough 15U team that has a lot of tough guards and defenders. They played in Indy this past weekend and Junior just popped out there on the floor, especially knowing that he is playing up with the 2025’s. This kid has the makings of turning into a premier CG in this loaded class.
6’6 Dean Rueckert Dean Rueckert 6'7" | SF Timpview | 2026 State UT || Utah Prospects Adidas 3SSB ||
The best is yet to come with this young prospect as he has been really playing a solid role playing up with the 15’s on the Adidas Circuit. Although he looks like a baby out there he is holding his own against some tough players. Dean is rebounding, getting easy buckets and really keeping it simple out on the floor in the offense end. Dean has also increased his confidence shooting the three and the mid-range. This kid is going to be at least 6’8 and he will stretch the floor. Athletic family and genes, so schools better start offering now.
6’2 G Luke West Luke West 6'2" | SG Bingham | 2026 State UT || Hoops Elite/801 Elite ||
Smooth, poise and fearless are a few ways to describe this kid coming up in the Class of 2026. Luke has no fear at the moment as he will play against anyone and try to defend anyone at that as well. With and elite 3 levels of scoring already this kid is a threat all over the floor. The most impressive aspect of his game at this young age is that he is making the right play all the time. Luke creates for himself and others. Luke also knows when to let the game come to him and when to go out and get buckets. He is likely to get varsity minutes on one of the premier teams in the state this upcoming year. Stay tuned as he continues to grow physically as well as developmentally.
5’10 G Mason Hansen Mason Hansen 6'1" | SG Springville | 2026 State UT || Utah Stars ||
This kid can shoot the ball and he can get hot in a hurry. It appears as though he will enroll at Springville which will be interesting because they might have some young talent on their hands and we will see if they play them up as they usually don’t. Mason is one of those players that if he is out on the floor he is a threat. This kid has range and accuracy. Mason is playing up as well on the Utah Stars UA Rise team. He provides some cold shooting. This kid is going to be nice moving forward.
