<p>It’s been an active time for many prospects in the Class of 2022. A number of top players have pledged their commitments to programs across the country. Congratulations to the following prospects.</p>
<p>Here are some notables over the past several weeks...</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="829402" first="Houston" last="Culpepper"] - Stranahan</p>
<p>Ave Maria has another Culpepper coming to the town. The 6-foot-4 guard/forward joins his brother, Chayse Culpepper, with the Gyrenes. [player_tooltip player_id="829402" first="Houston" last="Culpepper"] averaged 10.9 points and 10.1 rebounds per game while helping Stranahan to a 27-3 record and Class 5A state championship. He won two additional state titles and was a four-year varsity member. Culpepper is a powerful kid (225 pounds) with toughness around the paint. He was named 1st Team All-County by the Sun Sentinel.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="829477" first="Kevin" last="Pazmino"] - Cypress Bay</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="829477" first="Kevin" last="Pazmino"] announced his commitment to play for Sante Fe College on April 2nd. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard averaged 13.6 points per game while shooting 45 percent from the field. Furthermore, Pazmino knocked down 66 3-pointers at a 38 percent rate. He helped Cypress Bay to a 23-6 record and 7A-13 district championship. Moreover, the Lightning reached the Elite Eight of the Class 7A state tournament. Pazmino was named 1st Team All-County by the Sun Sentinel. His teammate, [player_tooltip player_id="1062420" first="Noah" last="Kattan"], committed to Lynn University on March 27th. Westminster Academy’s [player_tooltip player_id="814984" first="Rickey" last="Ballard"] also committed to the Fighting Knights on March 18th.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="814912" first="Jimel" last="Lane"] - Miami Palmetto</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="814912" first="Jimel" last="Lane"] was one of the best players in Miami-Dade County over the last four seasons. The 6-foot-7 guard/forward averaged an impressive 24.4 points and ten rebounds per game while shooting 51 percent from the field. Lane also hit 58 3-pointers at a 37 percent rate. He announced his commitment to Lynn University on April 12th. He was named 1st Team All-County by the Miami Herald. He joins fellow county star [player_tooltip player_id="814913" first="Esteban" last="Lluberes"] (Riviera Prep) with the Fighting Knights. It should be an exciting few seasons up in Boca Raton.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="956777" first="Charlie" last="May"] - Saint Andrew’s</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="956777" first="Charlie" last="May"] announced his intention to attend the University of Central Florida as a preferred walk-on. The 6-foot-5 small forward averaged 7.4 points, seven rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.4 blocks per game while helping the Scots to a 18-8 record.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="829406" first="Maximus" last="Fuentes"] - North Broward Prep</p>
<p>2022 guard [player_tooltip player_id="829406" first="Maximus" last="Fuentes"] announced his commitment to Drexel University. The 6-foot-3 shooting guard averaged 9.1 points and 3.6 rebounds per game while shooting 55 percent from the floor. Moreover, he went 17-of-51 (33 percent) from deep. Fuentes helped North Broward Prep to a 27-3 record. His reach (6’9 wingspan) and athleticism made him an excellent perimeter defender with the Eagles. He also is an excellent student with a 3.7 grade point average.</p>
