Just about every college program can always use another big man on their roster and surprisingly there are still some quality players with size that are still available. Let’s take a look at some of the big men that are still available and the levels that can potentially play at.

West Carteret Forward [player_tooltip player_id="1032848" first="Jaxon" last="Ellingsworth"] is one of the best overall prospects still on the board and we feel he is a player that is in the LM/High D2 area as a prospect. He’s a legit 6’8 that can step out and shoot the deep ball, rebounds it pretty well and will only get better once he gets into a college strength and conditioning program.

Oxford Prep Forward Lucas Juntunen is a name that we heard about following his 23 PPG season and he put together a solid showing at the ENC FAB40 Camp. He can battle inside but also step out and knock down some shots from three-point range. D3 and JC programs should be giving him a call as soon as possible, he’s a legit 6’6 that is coachable and has plenty of upside left.

Cape Fear HS Forward [player_tooltip player_id="1086708" first="Justin" last="Burden"] showed some flashes of what he can potentially be throughout the season and will be a nice late pickup. He has the ability to stretch the floor with his shooting, understands how to use his wingspan to blocks shots, and has what we would call ''Sneaky Athleticism’’.

Leesville Road F/C [player_tooltip player_id="1139569" first="Wesley" last="Johnson"] stands at 6’10 and is one of the most intriguing unsigned seniors in the state due to his size and upside. He can play in the paint or step out and knock down the outside shot but where he really made his mark during the ENC FAB40 Camp was the way he protected the paint on defense. Low major programs that are looking for a big that they can develop over the next year or two should give him a call.

Currituck County HS Forward [player_tooltip player_id="1062095" first="Ernest" last="Harris"] is a dual sport athlete that put together impressive performances on the hardwood and gridiron. It’s still a question mark as to which sport he will look to play next season in college but he has proven himself as college prospect that deserves to be recruited. Offensively he is still finding his way but he does all the small things that you love to see from a big such as rebounding and blocking shots. D3 and JUCO programs should be giving the 6’6 prospect a call sooner than later.
