Bears Tail 14U got their AAU season started last weekend in St. Cloud. They won their pool and they lost a few tough/close games throughout the weekend. This squad has 5 new players on its roster. Expect this team’s chemistry to keep improving as the AAU season moves on. Keep your eyes on this young group of basketball players.
Roster
Isaac Vallie (2026) |5’9 G| Bismarck Century
He has great speed and he is a defensive stopper. Isaac can knock down 3-pointers and he plays with a great motor. Vallie communicates very well on both ends of the court and he has a high basketball IQ.
Jonathon Roubideaux (2026) |6’4 F| Bismarck
He is a big and physical post that changes the game on both ends of the floor. The big man can finish over both shoulders. He can also step outside and knock down 3-pointers. Jonathon is a good ball-handler that can bring the rock up the court if need be.
Te’Darrion Slack (2026) |5’10 G| Bismarck
He has elite quickness and athleticism. Slack can guard the opponent’s best scorer, he also has quick feet and hands. Slash is a great mid-range shooter and he has a knack for scoring around the basket.
Brayden Keller (2026) |5’11 G| St. Mary’s
He is the fastest player on this team. Keller uses his quickness and athleticism very effectively on both ends of the floor. Brayden is a knock-down shooter and he moves well without the ball. Keller also has a great first step and he can finish around the cup.
Dayce Keplin Dayce Keplin 5'11" | SG Mandan | 2026 State ND (2026) |5’10 G| Bismarck
He has a very quick release and Keplin is a fluid shooter. Keplin has unlimited shooting range that goes nicely with his step-back jumper. Dayce moves well without the ball and he knows how to get open. He also shoots in the high 90s from the charity stripe.
Parker Jacobson (2026) |5’11 G| Washburn
He has great length that he matches with a high IQ. Parker can handle the back and he is a knock-down shooter. Nothing will rattle this kid, Jacobson is calm under pressure. Parker can play multiple positions and he moves well without the ball.
Anthony Davis (2026) |5’9 G| Bismarck Century
He has impressive speed and quickness. Davis is a hard-nosed in-your-face defender. He will hit the outside jumper and slash to the basket. Anthony can handle the ball under duress and he has a naturally strong body. Davis will stick out because of his competitiveness and high motor.
Jontae Delorme (2026) |5-10 G| Turtle Mountain
He is another nice guard with quickness and smarts. Delorme handles the rock well and he shoots it accurately. His mid-range game is always on. Jontae is a two-way player that will help his squad on both ends. For his size, Delorme is a talented player in the post. He plays the game calm, cool, and collected.
Jackson Barth (2026) |6’2 F| St. Mary’s
This forward has great footwork and he can stretch the floor. Barth is a serious shooter with a quick release. Jackson does work in the paint with excellent interior defense. Barth never seems to be in a hurry and he has a great hoops IQ.
Rylee Bears Tail (2026) |6’2 G| St. Mary’s
He is lanky and he moves well. Rylee has great handles, length, and speed that aid him in going around defenders. He is a shifty player that can finish around the basket with either hand. On defense, Rylee uses his long wingspan to get a lot of deflections, blocks, and rebounds.
Brylee Bears Tail Brylee Bears Tail 6'3" | SF Mandan | 2026 State ND (2026) |6’2 G/F| St. Mary’s
He is another long and athletic player. Brylee can play multiple positions and he can guard 1-5. He is a smooth shooter and Bears Tail can get to the rim off the bounce. His excellent footwork allows Brylee to slash, post up, and go around screens. He will be one of the best rebounders on this team. Brylee also shoots in the high 90s from the FT-line.

PHD: What excites you about your roster?
Coach Bears Tail: “We have a mixture of size, athleticism, shooters, and they all have a high basketball IQ. The biggest thing is all our boys get along.”
PHD: Who are a couple of your up-and-coming players?
Coach Bears Tail: “At 6’4 Jonathon Roubideaux is a big load to handle down low. Also, the Bears Tail twins with their length and athleticism do a lot for us on both ends of the floor.”
PHD: Who will be some of your best interior players and why?
Coach Bears Tail: “Jonathon Roubideaux protects the rim for us on the defensive side. Jackson and the Bears Tail twins help with rebounding, and they all have a good post-up game.”
PHD: Who will be a few of your top shooters?
Coach Bears Tail: “ Dayce Keplin Dayce Keplin 5'11" | SG Mandan | 2026 State ND , Brylee Bears Tail Brylee Bears Tail 6'3" | SF Mandan | 2026 State ND , Brayden Keller, Anthony Davis, and Parker Jacobson are all knock-down shooters. We shoot well from the three-point arc and our free throw percentage is very good.“
