The 2022 rankings have been updated for the final time. In this article we’re going to look at some of the top ranked players that took huge climbs in the rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id="921745" first="Rich" last="Rolf"], 6’7 PF Centerville 2022: Rolf had one of the biggest breakout senior seasons for an undisputed Division I prospect that I’ve seen. While I always liked what Rolf brought to the table, I would’ve never guessed that he’d finish the rankings in the top 5. Rolf climbed the rankings with huge games for the Elks when the moment was biggest and playing just smart, efficient basketball all season. Rolf is an excellent shooter, passes the ball well and is one of the best rebounders I’ve evaluated. Rolf is currently the highest rated prospect in the 2022 class that remains uncommitted.

[player_tooltip player_id="809602" first="Jacob" last="Conner"], 6’8 PF Kettering Alter 2022: Conner led Alter to the final four with an overall great season for the Knights. Conner shot the ball well from the outside and his added strength really played a difference after Conner wasn’t much of an interior presence despite his size. Conner is a good passer from the forward position and looks like a modern forward. We’ll see if Conner can find the court early in his career for Marshall.

[player_tooltip player_id="809640" first="Jagger" last="Landers"], 6’7 PF Antwerp 2022: Landers is another prospect that led his team to the state semifinals as he helped Antwerp become one of the premier small schools in the state. Landers is an excellent passer and has a college ready frame. Landers is tough and battled double teams constantly as a senior. I firmly believe Landers is a Division I talent but Findlay is no stranger to recruiting Division I talent. I could easily see Landers being an impact player for the Oilers and eventually make the move up to Division I if he impresses for Findlay.

[player_tooltip player_id="1195135" first="Dennis" last="Asoro"], 6’8 C Eastmoor Academy 2022: Asoro had a breakout senior season and could easily be a first team all-state nominee in Division II with the absurd numbers he put up in the Columbus City League. Asoro has gotten a lot of attention from JUCO’s and should be playing for one of the top JUCO’s in the nation next season. Asoro has a large frame but improved his mobility while not losing strength this season. Asoro’s touch around the basket is also underrated as most of his post moves fall around the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id="1181117" first="Magnus" last="Entenmann"], 6’10 C ISA 2022: Entenmann was injured for a long time after transferring to ISA from Upper Arlington. I finally got the chance to see Entenmann again this season after such a long time off and was impressed with the strides he made. Entenmann is a force around the rim defensively and has shown some offensive flashes shooting the basketball. If I was a Division II program looking for a big with legit Division I size, I’d take a chance on Entenmann and see if he blossoms.
