Tarrant County’s Senior All-Star game presented by Hoop Junkie will be filled with the top talent from the Fort Worth metroplex this weekend competing in the 3-Point Shootout, the Dunk Contest, and the highly anticipated All-Star Game. Some of the best unsigned seniors in the city will be showcasing their remarkable skill sets one final time before moving on to bigger and better things. Here we take a brief look at the headlining prospect from Team North.

[player_tooltip player_id="958897" first="Chase" last="Henderson"] | SG | Birdville HS | Unsigned

6-5A District MVP winner [player_tooltip player_id="958897" first="Chase" last="Henderson"] is a pure bucket getter that owns every scoring record at Birdville High School. Henderson’s shooting prowess made him the school’s all-time leader in field goals made, three-pointers made, and points scored, allocating north of 2000 points throughout his 4 years. Expect [player_tooltip player_id="958897" first="Chase" last="Henderson"] to light it up from deep after finishing as one of the top three-point shooters in the metroplex with 90 makes this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1052072" first="Mason" last="Jones"] | SG | Keller Central HS | Unsigned

6-foot-4 sharpshooting guard, [player_tooltip player_id="1052072" first="Mason" last="Jones"] had one of the best senior campaigns of anyone in Texas, making history throughout the season by shattering the school’s single-season scoring record with 630 points, becoming a McDonald’s All-American nominee and capping it all off by leading Keller Central to their first-ever UIL Regional Quarterfinals round of the playoffs, he’s even up to take home VYPE’s Dallas/Fort Worth Public Shcool Player of the Year honor.

[player_tooltip player_id="889581" first="Jourdyn" last="Grandberry"] | CG | Richland HS

Texas A&M Corpus Christi commit, [player_tooltip player_id="889581" first="Jourdyn" last="Grandberry"] is an exciting ball-handler with masterful ball skills and the scoring capability to get hot and go off for 30 points at any given moment. I won’t be surprised one bit if [player_tooltip player_id="889581" first="Jourdyn" last="Grandberry"] breaks a few ankles and puts on a show above the rim.

B.J. Williams | SG | Fort Worth Brewer HS | Unsigned

Elite two-sport athlete B.J. Williams ended his high school career with a bang, not only taking the Brewer Bears to a playoff appearance but also leading his team in scoring with 18 points per game, dropping nearly 600 points and making 85 three-pointers throughout the year with a season-high of 37 points against the Oklahoma City Storm. B.J.’s top-notch effort did not go unnoticed as he was awarded the 5-5A District MVP honor.

[player_tooltip player_id="1204025" first="Marlon" last="Carrington"] | SG | Haltom HS | Unsigned

All-around guard, [player_tooltip player_id="1204025" first="Marlon" last="Carrington"], is one of the most underrated and under-recruited seniors the state has to offer, Carrington is someone that can contribute and impact a team at the next level in more ways than one. This young man put up 575 total points, averaging over 18.5 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1.5 steals per game all while leading the Haltom Buffalos in each category.

[player_tooltip player_id="1204098" first="Jamison" last="Bosch"] | SF | Fort Worth Boswell HS

The 6-foot-7-inch Hardin-Simmons University signee will be one of, if not the top three-point shot maker in the building. [player_tooltip player_id="1204098" first="Jamison" last="Bosch"] knocked down long-range bombs at a high rate, nailing 88 three-pointers for the Boswell Pioneers to close out his high school career. This sharpshooting offensive weapon could come up big in the three-point contest.

DaeVeon Scott | PG | Keller Central HS | Unsigned

Another Keller Central Charger chosen to take part in the upcoming event is this year’s 4-6A Second Team All-District honoree, DaeVeon Scott. You can expect to see a lot of scoring from Scott inside the lane as he’s a very explosive guard off the dribble and on the leap.

Draquan Conley | SF | Fort Worth Brewer HS | Unsigned

Draquan Conley is yet another Brewer Bear to be honored this weekend after playing a major role in helping the Bears to a winning record and a top spot in the 5-5A division. 6-foot-5 Conley was awarded a First Team All-District honor after averaging 5 points and 4 rebounds per game throughout the season, nearly doubling his numbers from his junior campaign.
