SubscribeThe Future Stars Classic in Appleton, WI is expected to draw a lot of attention during the first weekend of April and Prep Hoops Next is excited to cover some of the top talent from the Midwest. One of the newest programs we are excited to welcome to the circuit is TCDA out of Milwaukee. Director Rob Plump was able to talk with Prep Hoops Next about the history and mission of his program.
“We are going into our second year of playing ball. We put a lot of focus into developing our players and helping them improve their skill set. This is really our second year playing AAU so we are excited to compete and be competitive.”
Plump was able to elaborate on three players that should really help him this year.
Robert Plump III: “He has been constantly developing. He is a very defensive minded kid. His number one thing he does on the court is play defense and he constantly is trying to get better on that end. He has been a knockdown shooter for us.”
Domonic Eubanks Jr.: “He has been really playing at a high level. He is far more advanced with the game than a lot of other people in his grade. He is more of an attacking guard as he likes to attack and get to the rim. He has been working on developing his shot too which is looking good and with that I think the kid has a lot of upside”
Dinero Nash: “He is more of a combo guard and his game is really coming along. He is a shooter and is a guy that is just willing to learn more about the game day by day. He is another guy that loves to play defense.”
With Plump being new to the AAU circuit, he knows he will be facing some of the top competition in the midwest and he is up for that challenge.
“I want these guys to be constantly developing. We have a lot of youth on this team so this is why development is so important. We are going to be in some competitive tournaments this year so we are going to be learning a lot and we are ready for the challenge.”
