With our recent update of the Prep Hoops New York Class of 2025 rankings, we added nearly 70 names to our database. These prospects will look to build names for themselves this upcoming travel, and we are all excited to see what their future holds.

[player_tooltip player_id="1363731" first="Bryce" last="Long"] Greece Olympia - A long smooth guard who plays the game the right way every time he steps on the court. The 6’3 combo guard sees the floor well and is very good in transition. He has a nice pull-up, making him a real threat in the halfcourt. Long is currently ranked 11th in the NYS class of 2025 rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id="1363732" first="Chris" last="Powell"] University Prep - A very athletic guard who makes plays every time the ball is in his hands. 6’2 slasher who has a ton of moves to get by defenders. He finishes nicely with both hands and will surprise you with his ability to bounce off the ground quickly with dunks in traffic. He is developing a catch-and-shoot game. Last I saw, Powell shot it very well from beyond the college three-point line. Powell is currently ranked 14th in the NYS class of 2025 rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id="1379281" first="Gavin" last="Doty"] Fulton - One of the most talented guards in his class. With tremendous size for the guard position, Doty showed me above-average playmaking ability and could turn into a phenomenal point guard with good size if developed. At 6’4, the combo guard is smooth with the ball and makes the correct decision the majority of the time. [player_tooltip player_id="1379281" first="Gavin" last="Doty"] is the 15th ranked prospect in the Class of 2025 NYS rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id="1403228" first="Jaiden" last="Holloman"] Bishop Ludden - [player_tooltip player_id="1403228" first="Jaiden" last="Holloman"] may be undersized for the Combo guard position, but the range he can shoot the ball from makes up for it. He can stretch defenses to almost halfcourt, allowing him to use his quickness to get by defenders. Holloman then uses a variety of finishes around the rim. He may be the best scorer pound for pound in the state. [player_tooltip player_id="1403228" first="Jaiden" last="Holloman"] is the 12th ranked prospect in the Class of 2025 NYS rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id="1320590" first="Khaleeb" last="Obieke"] McQuaid Jesuit - Obieke stands out every time he steps on the court as he picks up the opposing team’s point guard full court every game causing havoc and not allowing them to get into a rhythm. Obieke may be the best on-ball defender in his class and has a chance to prove it this spring/summer. Offensively he shoots the three well enough to be a threat and attacks closeouts well. Typically finds the open guy with drives and dump-offs. [player_tooltip player_id="1320590" first="Khaleeb" last="Obieke"] is the 33rd ranked prospect in the Class of 2025 NYS rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id="1381381" first="Nick" last="Peet"] Corning-Painted Post - A consistent forward who can do a little of everything. Peet has a high basketball IQ, which allows him to play at his own pace without turning the ball over with pressure. Speaking of pressure, Peet has recently shown the ability to make big shots in big moments, hitting a game-winning three at his most recent event. Peet is currently ranked 50th in the class of 2025 NYS rankings.
