3A has some talented player across the board, there will be a big battle next season to see what players will make that next jump and stock rise.

Region 12 MVP

5’9 PG [player_tooltip player_id="1191492" first="Andrew" last="Barnes"] || Canyon View High School || 2023 ||

Young PG coming back next year that packs a scoring punch. Although he was often one of the smaller players on the floor he was one fo the best rebounding guard in the region. While he could score 20+ points on any day he could also pull down 10+ rebounds as well.

Region 13 MVP

6’0 PG [player_tooltip player_id="1402371" first="Tyrese" last="Lacey"] || Layton Christian Academy || 2023 ||

Tyrese is an under the radar guard as he is just balling at LCA. He is quick but he is just a dog on the ball defensively. Tyrese was almost unstoppable in region play and at state he was just as effective. High motor guard that is a blur.

Region 14 MVP

6’0 PG Landon Bowles || North Sanpete High School || 2022 ||

One of the best scoring guards in all os 3A and he was lights out in region play this year. The 6’0 guard can score inside and out and he has a hard-nose style of play.

Region 15 MVP

6’9 F/C [player_tooltip player_id="1114374" first="Malick" last="Diallo"] || Juan Diego Catholic || 2024 ||

Malick was one fo the most dominant players in the state in general and in 3A he was a just a beats. Malick has a high motor and a presence in the paint on both ends of the floor. Malick can score from the outside and he finishes above the rim if you throw anything his way. Malick is being recruited by a lot of major D1 schools across the country and he showed why all year long.
