[player_tooltip player_id="1223216" first="Brodie" last="Scott"] (North Oconee) Scott is one of the better shooters that I saw in this event. He can knock the ball down from deep and from the midrange. He can spot up and shoot but also create his own shots off of the dribble. Plays hard every possession on both sides of the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id="1199594" first="Connor" last="McKay"] (Rabun County) McKay was very impressive in the event. He is super athletic, winning the dunk contest. But also can knock down the long range shot with ease. If he gets downhill he is a real problem and threat to score. Plays hard and gives the extra effort every play to help his team succeed. Plays bigger than what he is grabbing rebounds and blocking shots to help protect the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id="1227067" first="David" last="Witcher"] (Franklin County) Witcher is an elite defender, great on ball and off ball. He gets lots of blocks and forces lots of turnovers. On the offensive end he can get to the rim and finish through contact. High energy player and very aggressive, does everything he can to compete.

[player_tooltip player_id="810390" first="Kashik" last="Brown"] (Cedar Shoals) Brown is a very special and exciting player to watch. He can score the ball at will, putting up big numbers. Volume shooter that is capable at any time to get hot. A little undersized he can get to the basket and finish in traffic with a variety of moves. He is a very fast player but can still slow the game down and control the pace when needed.

[player_tooltip player_id="1227060" first="Lamar" last="Haynes"] (Clarke Central) Haynes is the true definition of a three and D player. He is a deadeye shooter from the corner. Can spot up shoot but also take his man off the dribble to create his own shot and hit the midrange shot. On defense he uses his length deflect passes and block shots. Can guard multiple positions on the floor helping him be a very successful defender.

[player_tooltip player_id="1054258" first="JC" last="Curry"] (Hart County) Every time I watch Curry play he never fails to impress me. Very exciting player who can score on all 3 levels, and get any shot he wants. He has a nice change of pace and plays very smoothly getting to his spots and knocking down shots. Very athletic guard who can dunk in traffic and finish through contact. High basketball IQ, knows where everybody is supposed to be and holds them accountable.

[player_tooltip player_id="1123943" first="KJ" last="Reid"] (Social Circle) Reid is an elite scorer who scores at will. Nice handles that he shows when creating his own shot, getting to the basket with ease or stopping and pulling up for the midrange. On defense he is aggressive and plays hard, forcing lots of turnovers. Very fast and high energy player helping him be successful.

Marcus Gillespie (Clarke Central) The youngest player on the court but you could not tell. MG made a name for himself at this event, impressing early and not backing down from competition. He is a 3 level scorer but he can knock down the 3 ball from NBA range. Has a smooth and quick jumper, has no problem getting his shot off against bigger defenders. He can create his own shot off the dribble with a variety of moves and gets to his spots with ease.

Roderick Jones (Clarke Central) Jones had a good showing today. He has a very smooth mid range shot and can also attack the basket. He stays poised and calm in tough moments limiting mistakes under pressure. Can defend multiple positions on defense, crashes the boards and rebounds well.

[player_tooltip player_id="1045699" first="Keylan" last="Rutledge"] (Franklin County) Rutledege is a very fun player to watch. He has good footwork for his size and has a nice touch around the rim. He can step out some and stretch the floor to knock down the midrange. Has a high basketball IQ and is dangerous in the pick n roll. He crashes the glass hard and asserts his dominance on the defensive end.
