Lakeshow Seniors at Southern California Senior Showcase

<p>Lakeshow, A Northern California based AAU program brought it’s group of Unsigned Seniors to the Southern California Senior Showcase at Santiago Canyon College in Southern California on Sunday for this one day event. They went 2-0. They played well as a team, and they had good individual performances as well.</p> <p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="766845" first="Jeremiah" last="Dargan"] 6’5 CG, SG of Clayton Valley Charter.</strong></em></p> <p><em><strong>Dargan</strong> </em>one of NorCal’s top unsigned Seniors was a standout performer. The wiry 6’5 guard has a consistent floor game. He can score in different ways, using his handles to get to his spots, he has a quality mid-range game, and will knock down open 3’s. His length, and handles allows him to challenge defenders in the paint. He can run point. He has long arms to defend and take away easy passes.</p> <p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1376405" first="Trey" last="Knight"] 6’0 PG of Moreau Catholic</strong></em></p> <p><em><strong>Knight</strong> </em>has superb ball handling skills, he sees the court well, he has all the tools required to sufficiently run a teams offense. He’s a strong bodied guard capable of breaking down defenders to get his own shot, he attacks well from various angles on the court. He can execute the pick and roll. He has a paint jumper, a floater, and he’ll knock down open 3's.</p> <p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1253694" first="Nick" last="Medeiros"] 6’0 PG St. Patrick-St. Vincent</strong></em></p> <p><em><strong>Medeiros</strong></em> a tough and speedy point guard who has the handles and skills to run the point guard position as well as any guard in NorCal. He uses his speed to blow by defenders when he wants to, his toughness to take on the bigs in the paint. He has quick hands and foot speed to be a disruptive on ball defender. </p> <p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1254027" first="Miles" last="Klapper"] 6’2 CG, SG of Junipero Serra</strong></em></p> <p><em><strong>Klapper</strong> </em>is a heady player always moving and looking to take advantage of the situation. He can play both guards spot, but works well off the ball. He’s a willing passer who sees the court well. He looks to score on the wings and in transition, he can hit the 3. He plays well off two feet after driving into the paint.</p> <p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1241755" first="Antonio" last="Pusateri"] 6’5 Wing Archbishop Riordan</strong></em></p> <p><em><strong>Pusateri</strong> </em>excels in the open court, we think that’s where he’s most effective, getting out in transition, filling the lanes where he can use his length and hops to finish plays around the rim with dunks on occasion. He’s long, and active on the defensive side and will help on the boards. </p> <p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1377184" first="Logan" last="Baltazar"] 6’5 W/F of James Logan</strong></em></p> <p><em><strong>Baltazar</strong> </em>has good hops. He plays well off two feet, and has good balance going up for points and after rebounds out of his area. He showed good ball handling and decision making leading the transition break. He can score along the baseline off the dribble, and has good lift on his jump shot from around the free throw area.
