Pro Skills Basketball is gaining traction in its second year of existence around the DMV. Here is a brief rundown of its 15U-17U teams.

15U

There are two 15U teams that represent PSB DMV. Both squads are competitive and have prospects of note. Dylan Bena, a class of 2025 guard from River Hill, is a sniper from long range. His teammate, 2025 Caden Walton is another name to know. The tall lefty is a threat to grab 10+ rebounds in a given contest. On the other team, look out for 2025 Sean May from Gonzaga. He demonstrates a great feel, playmaking instincts, and can make long jumpers from the catch.

16U

There is a lot of potential with the 16U group. 2024 [player_tooltip player_id="1367432" first="Marcus" last="Rustin"] brings high-quality intangibles and scoring prowess along with high-level athleticism and relentless effort. Langley’s Evan Krawczyk stretches the floor from the forward position and will help control the glass. Keep an eye on Amir Shaheed from Atholton. He is a confident long-range shooter who can score in bunches. Kagaba Musiime, a class of 2025 prospect from St. John’s, is a rangy wing who makes plays on both ends of the court.

17U

This bunch could give opponents fits with their physicality. [player_tooltip player_id="1280949" first="Darius" last="Vance"], [player_tooltip player_id="1164833" first="Nick" last="Viqueira"], and [player_tooltip player_id="1280948" first="Grady" last="Wolfe"] are a trio of hard-nosed guards who are solid the point of attack defensively but can also put the ball in the hole. DeMatha’s [player_tooltip player_id="1415857" first="Logan" last="Lewis"] could be the team’s x-factor. He is a versatile player who loves the open court and getting downhill where he is a strong finisher in traffic. [player_tooltip player_id="1280963" first="Aidan" last="Gallagher"] is another versatile forward who is not afraid to mix it up with bigger foes around the basket but could emerge as a matchup problem with his expanding face-up skills.
