There were three divisions, the gold division, the silver division and the high school division, and there was tons of talent for all collegiate levels. If you’re interested in watching the conference tournament, you can get the play back on cbglivenetwork.com.
The winners of the three brackets were:
Gold: Scotland Red (National)
Silver: Phelps School PG
High School: Scotland Campus Black
Here’s a look at part three of the standouts from the Pennsylvania teams in attendance.
Ethan Clouser | 5’10” PG | Scotland Black (HS) 2022
Clouser is the senior leader for a young Scotland Black group that upset their way to the HS championship game before falling to Scotland Red, and he showed a lot of savvy and game in matchups with bigger and more athletic players. He’s a good ball handler who can handle pressure, he’s a very consistent shooter from deep with range and a quick release and he has a toughness about him you just have to love.
Maxymillian Domogalski | 6’0” WG | Scotland Black (HS) 2025
The freshman hailing from Poland showed a lot of potential, as he was huge in their upset over Olympus HS and showed he isn’t afraid of big situations or big games as he came to play in both of their games. He’s a knock down shooter from deep with great confidence in his shot, he can attack the rim and finish in the midrange and in the paint and he has a toughness to him that’s easy to like. He’ll be one to watch moving forward in the GAC.
Daniel Lans | 6’1” CG | Phelps School PG 2022
Lans was big for Phelps School in their run to the silver division championship, and he had a big time championship game and did a little bit of everything to help his team win. He’s a guard who plays on the ball and can create for himself and others, he has a knack for scoring it in bunches and he can make shots from all over and he makes others better as well with his passing and playmaking ability.
Wisler Sanon | 6’2” WG | Phelps School PG 2022
Sanon is the heart and soul of this championship team, as his high motor and energy was infectious to his team and he made plays on both sides of the ball for them. He’s a long and bouncy wing that thrives in the uptempo system they play, he can guard the other team’s best player and he rebounds and makes the hustle plays as well.
Michael O’Mahoney | 6’6” WF | Phelps School PG 2022
While some of the other guys were very important for Phelps, the fact is they don’t win the championship if O’Mahoney doesn’t get hot in the second half and ring off 18 of his 25 on a barrage of three-pointers. The big wing from Ireland did a lot throughout the game as he played multiple positions and had an inside-out thing going, but he showed he’s an elite shooter with range, a quick release and big time confidence in clutch situations for his team.
Jaren Marshall | 6’1” CG | Phelps School PG 2022
Marshall was another very important player for this deep team, as he was arguably the most talented when it came to his offensive ability to play on the ball and create for himself and others. He’s very slippery off the bounce with good change of pace and direction, he created space and knocked down shots consistently and he was the one that pushed the tempo and put pressure on the defense consistently.
SJ Hutchinson | 6’4” CG | Phelps School National 2022
With BC commit Chas Kelley Chas Kelley 6'5" | PG Phelps | 2022 State PA dealing with foul trouble for much of the Phelps School’s game against Mt. Zion, Hutchinson stepped up big and delivered a lot of scoring, and he’s an intriguing prospect for schools moving forward. At 6’4” he has great size at the guard position with good length, he’s a fluid athlete who changes directions well and can get downhill easily, he got hot quickly and made plays for himself and others and he still has a lot of room he can improve moving forward.
Mitchell Holmes Mitchell Holmes 6'10" | PF Phelps School | 2023 PA | 6’10” C | Phelps School National 2022
There were a lot of good bigs in the Gold Division, many that I knew of and have seen throughout the year, but Holmes is the one I didn’t know about and walked away impressed with his long term potential. The 6’10” big is active on both ends of the floor and pursues the ball on rebounds and makes the hustle plays, he has good hands and feet in the paint and can finish around the rim and he showed the ability to stretch the floor and has good touch. He may need another year of development but he showed a lot of things that make you think he’ll be good down the line in the college ranks.
