<p>As always, a new rankings update for the class of 2022 means that there has been some shifting going on at the top of the leaderboard. Throughout the season, everyone featured in the rankings list did a great job of helping their teams achieve success, while some players were able to have an even bigger impact than others. In my eyes, a lot of players deserve to be at the top of the rankings, yet only a few can truly stand out enough to place themselves on a pedestal. Continue reading for a look at some of the top stock risers from the class of 2022 rankings update.</p>
<p><strong>#9 [player_tooltip player_id="1108108" first="Brandon" last="Bethel"], Mountain Home:</strong> Brandon made a jump into the top 10 after a great senior season overall. While Mountain Home did not always achieve the victories they were hoping for, Bethel was a really consistent part of their offense and defense and showed his talents and skills throughout the season. Bethel did a great job of driving to the basket and finishing through contact, and also showed a smooth jump shot from mid-range and downtown.</p>
<p><strong>#10 [player_tooltip player_id="1378369" first="Colby" last="Renner"], St. Maries:</strong> Colby has been one of the main reasons for St. Maries’ recent success and he has been a leader both on and off of the floor. Renner showed this season that he was a very versatile player who could stretch the floor as a big, or handle the ball against any sort of pressure. Renner has a high basketball IQ and a strong feeling for the game overall.</p>
<p><strong>#14 [player_tooltip player_id="921089" first="Trentyn" last="Kreager"], Priest</strong> <strong>River:</strong> Kreager put together a really strong senior season and showed that his offensive game is extremely refined and polished. Throughout the season, Kreager was hit with a lot of different defensive schemes and tactics to try and keep the ball out of his hands, yet he was able to find a way to break down these defenders and still score well at an efficient rate.</p>
<p><strong>#15 [player_tooltip player_id="969932" first="Jacob" last="Martinez"], Vallivue:</strong> Jacob made a pretty big leap into the top 15 this season thanks to a number of scoring outbursts this past season. Martinez showed that he had what it took to carry Vallivue at times and used an impressive jump shot from downtown to do the majority of his damage. Martinez also did a great job of being a strong passing point guard and routinely setup his teammates for success.</p>
