The 6A state tournament included three close games which ultimately led to Martin County narrowly defeating Ponte Vedra in the final. Let’s take a look at who earned All Tournament honors.

First Team:

G- [player_tooltip player_id="1310889" first="Cam" last="Insalaco"], 6’2", Jr. - Insalaco was phenomenal in this tournament. He continually made the smart play and never forced any shots. The junior finished with 9 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals in the semifinal and then went off for a team high 16 points in the final. Insalaco has the natural ability to draw fouls and get to the line. Being only a junior, Cam can really make a leap this off season and become a tremendous player at the next level.

G- [player_tooltip player_id="1055750" first="Isaac" last="Celiscar"], 6’5", So. - Celiscar posted a game high 16 points to go along with 6 rebounds and 4 assists in a narrow loss to Ponte Vedra. He shot 7-12 from the field and was a catalyst for the Blue Devils. He currently has an offer from Sienna, but I expect plenty more to roll in over his last 2 years in school.

F- [player_tooltip player_id="956774" first="Ross" last="Candelino"], 6’5", Sr. - Candelino was all over the place for Ponte Vedra, posting 15 points and 4 steals in the semifinal. He had 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals in the final against Martin County. The senior currently has an offer from American University.

F- [player_tooltip player_id="814550" first="Dylan" last="James"], 6’8", Jr. - James has been great all year for Winter Haven. In the semifinal, He shot 7-9 from the field and showcased his range by hitting a three. The junior big man scored 15 points and had 5 blocks with 2 steals. James is receiving interest from numerous D1 programs, including Alabama, Georgetown, Creighton, Florida, and UCF.

F- [player_tooltip player_id="829398" first="Ryan" last="Davis"], 6’5", Sr. - Senior forward [player_tooltip player_id="829398" first="Ryan" last="Davis"] carried his team to the final by posting 18 points, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds in the semifinal game. In the final against Ponte Vedra, Davis totaled 8 points and 12 rebounds, which sealed the win for Martin County.

Honorable Mention:

G- Jack Pierrelus, 6’2", Sr. - Pierrelus had 11 and 6 in the semifinal. The 6’2" guard grabbed a mind-blowing 13 rebounds in the state championship, which was a huge reason why Martin County was able to outlast Ponte Vedra.

G- [player_tooltip player_id="812621" first="Chandler" last="Davis"], 6’5", Sr. - Davis scored 16 points in the semifinal for Wharton. Only Davis and Dyson were able to get things going on the offensive end for the Wildcats.

F- [player_tooltip player_id="1161403" first="Trevor" last="Dyson"], 6’3", Sr. - Dyson drained 4 threes in the semifinal game. He played every single second of the game and gave his team everything he could. The senior totaled 16 points, 11 rebounds, and a block. Dyson, along with [player_tooltip player_id="812621" first="Chandler" last="Davis"], was one of the only bright spots for Wharton.
