The 4A tournament was another classification loaded with talent, including several guys that will go to high majors. Time to see who earned first team All Tournament honors.

First Team:

G- Jacob Daniels, 5’9", Fr. - The young guard had an outstanding game in a heartbreaking semifinal loss to Andrew Jackson High. Daniels posted 21 points and was a perfect 9-9 from the line. As only a freshman, Daniels has really impressed me and I expect him to make a significant leap this off season.

G- [player_tooltip player_id="1060182" first="Michael" last="Swift"], 6’3", Jr. - Swift is 100% a name you will be hearing very often next year. The junior guard was active both offensively and defensively, totaling 13 points and grabbing 4 steals in the semifinal win. He was even better in the championship against a top 5 team in the country, Calvary Christian. Swift grabbed 5 boards and had 14 points in a hard fought game. College coaches better be aware of the name [player_tooltip player_id="1060182" first="Michael" last="Swift"].

G- [player_tooltip player_id="709215" first="Marvel" last="Allen"], 6’5", Jr. - Not much to say about the LSU commit that isn’t already known. He capped off his junior year with a 19 point performance in the semi and 13 points in the blowout championship win. Marvel is reminiscent of a Ja Morant type guard; he embodies the phrase "explosive playmaker."

G/F- [player_tooltip player_id="712136" first="Brice" last="Sensabaugh"], 6’6", Sr. - Much like Marvel, there won’t be anything new here. There is a reason the senior forward is going to Ohio State next year. Sensabaugh has phenomenal range and can get in the paint with ease. He is a big body and uses it to his advantage. Against a team loaded with D1 prospects, Brice did not disappoint, posting 25 points, 7 rebounds, and maybe most importantly zero turnovers. The Big 10 is exactly where he belongs.

F- [player_tooltip player_id="712107" first="Taylor" last="Hendricks"], 6’10", Sr. - The UCF commit played a great game in the semi final game, scoring 18 points and blocking 4 shots. His physical presence in the paint forced a tough shot every possession. The big man is just as good guarding the perimeter. Taylor nearly had a double-double in the final, scoring 11 and grabbing 9 rebounds. He also led the team with 4 blocks and added 3 steals to the stuffed stat sheet.

Honorable Mention:

F- [player_tooltip player_id="814895" first="Gregg" last="Glenn"], 6’8", Sr. - The 4 star Michigan commit started off the tournament relatively slow, only scoring 6 points in the semifinal, but dishing 5 assists. He heated up in the final, going off for a game high 19 points with 7 boards and 4 steals. Easy to see why he is going to Michigan.

F- Jacquez Day, 6’5", Sr. - Day is my top sleeper from the state tournament. While he is 6’5", he plays even bigger than that. Day is a talented post defender and challenges every shot, which led to 5 blocks in the semi. The senior also grabbed a game high 14 rebounds. Watching Jacquez play, it became evident that he was a natural born leader.

G- Ronald Durham, 6’3", So. - Durham is another one of my sleepers from the tournament. He has a really smooth jumper and can take defenders off the dribble. He scored 11 in the semifinal with 4 steals. Coming off the bench as a sophomore, his impact was felt for the Tigers of Andrew Jackson. Expect to see his role increase next year, as starting guard [player_tooltip player_id="1164182" first="Kevin" last="Odom"] is set to graduate this year.
