<p class="p1">This article will include the top players I saw this past weekend. The two games I went to this past weekend were Divison 1 #20 seed Hilliard Darby beating #29 seed Canal Winchester 61-50 and Divison 2 #10 seed DeSales making the comeback win to beat #8 seed Columbus South 52-39. </p>
<p class="p1"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="1195124" first="Cruz" last="Sanchez"] (2022). F 6’7. DeSales<a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/02/Cruz-Sanchez1.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-1396431 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/02/Cruz-Sanchez1-300x257.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="257" /></a></b></p>
<p class="p3">Sanchez put on a show in his game against South in the second half. He was dominant in the post getting multiple offensive and big-time defensive rebounds. South did not have an answer for his long and strong presence. He has a pretty stoke as well and his size gives him the ability to shoot over anyone. He used his length very well defensively getting multiple blocks. Has nice vision and a high IQ. I loved his ability to guard smaller guards on switches.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>

<p class="p1"><b><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/02/Cam-Gilkerson1.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-1396433 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/02/Cam-Gilkerson1-300x191.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="191" /></a>Cam Gilkerson (2023). W 6’3. Hilliard Darby</b></p>
<p class="p3">Gilkerson has some next-level vision and passing with some very high IQ to match. He has a bigger body and uses it well when posting up and getting to the rim against smaller guards. Can finish effectively with both hands and always finds the open man when he is in trouble. Has some very nice and creative moves and plays the game in a beautiful fashion and the right way.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="1045470" first="Atticus" last="Schuler"] (2022). F 6’8. DeSales <a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/02/Atticus-Scholler1.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-1396436 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/02/Atticus-Scholler1-300x200.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" /></a></b></p>
<p class="p3">I really liked Atticus games because he is the definition of stretch four. He is very long and uses it well defensively. Has a wide frame with a matured build that can be added too. Schuler is a tough kid that can shoot it and can switch onto smaller guards.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><b><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/02/Blake-Horvath1.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-1396437 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/02/Blake-Horvath1-300x177.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="177" /></a>Blake Horvath (2022). G 6’2. Hilliard Darby<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></b></p>
<p class="p3">Horvath was someone who shocked me with his athleticism. The 6’2 guard is very bouncy and fast with great defensive anticipation. He got multiple steals and ran Darby’s offense very effectively. He had three dunks and almost had a ferocious poster dunk. He has some nice size for a guard and is a great passer with some nice vision. He broke Hilliard Darby’s assist record on Friday night.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="921781" first="Drew" last="Panning"] (2022). F 6’8. Hilliard Darby <a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/02/Drew-Panning1.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-1396438 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/02/Drew-Panning1-300x200.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" /></a></b></p>
<p class="p3">Panning is a 6’8 forward that has great length and caught my eye when he caught a lob dunk early in the game Friday. He seemed to have the ability to shoot as he look to get a shot up every time he touched the ball. He moved well and guarded smaller players on the wing well and used his length to help him. Panning is also an underrated passer.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p class="p1"><b><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/02/Gio-Roberts1.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-1396439 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/02/Gio-Roberts1-300x200.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" /></a>[player_tooltip player_id="1347364" first="Gio" last="Roberts"] (2022). G 6’0. Hilliard Darby</b></p>
<p class="p3">Roberts finished with 16 points on Friday and did it very efficiently. He is a great slash first guard. Gets to the rim a lot with his quick first step and his sneaky athleticism. He also has the great body control and finishes strong through contact.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p> </p>
<p class="p1"><b>Devin Gones (2022). G 5’9. Canal Winchester<a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/02/Devin-Gones1.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-1396443 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/02/Devin-Gones1-300x200.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" /></a></b></p>
<p class="p3">I fell in love with Gones’ energy and effort. He stands only 5’9 but has a ton of heart and great leadership. He has a knockdown jumper as well. He hit multiple threes. Quick and fast guard that can guard any other guard and is someone who brings tons of energy when he is on the floor.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
