What freshmen are making an impact at the Class AAA varsity level? We give you at least one per section in Class AAA!
1AAA. Parker Wangen Parker Wangen 6'4" | SF Stewartville | 2025 State MN of Stewartville. Parker is a 6’3 shooter scoring seven points a game for the surprising Tigers who’ve had a great year.
Other: Ethan Lee of Kasson-Mantorville. The 6’3 wing is a key part of the KoMets rotation scoring two or three times a contest on average.
Max Dearborn of Byron has played in several games off the bench for Byron.
2AAA. Brogan Madson of Mankato East. Playing a lot of PG for the Cougars and hitting a couple perimeter jumpers a game.
3AAA. Aijhon Douglas of St. Paul Harding. Aijhon is a 5’6 point guard that is scoring 7.6 points a contest for Harding.
Other: Ramzi Rislove of Two River. Ramzi has played a role in some games for a Two Rivers team that has surprised.
4AAA. Xavier Daniels Xavier Daniels 6'1" | SG Hill-Murray | 2025 State MN of Hill-Murray. The Pioneers don’t have a great record but Xavier Daniels Xavier Daniels 6'1" | SG Hill-Murray | 2025 State MN is having a great first year. He has hit the double figure mark 11 times and is averaging 11 points a game this season. Keep an eye on this young man.
Quaylin Hardict of Columbia Heights. Tough line-up to crack but Qualylin has played in a lot of varsity games this year. He has a combo of late game appearances and some deep bench spots during key games. A 5’10 guard to know!
Braden Siroin of St. Anthony. Braden is scoring five points a game for his team this season.
Tyler Wagner Tyler Wagner 6'6" | SF Totino Grace | 2025 State #366 Nation MN of Totino-Grace. Wagner has played JV this year but has also seen some varsity team with that high skill level.
5AAA. Luke Emmerich of Monticello. Luke is a 6’1 guard that is averaging 6.6 points and three rebounds a game playing with some quality senior guards.
Other: Gianni Artisensi-Skime of Zimmerman. Gianni is a reserve guard for his team.
6AAA. Jalen Wilson of Benilde-St. Margaret’s. Few freshmen can match Jalen as a freshman in terms of potential, productivity, and consistency. Jalen is a 6’7 forward scoring 13.5 points per game on a team that is currently in the top ten.
