Solid Prospects Performing

<p>This short list of players had some solid play last night.</p> <p><strong>6’4 PG [player_tooltip player_id="967721" first="Darius" last="Henderson"] || Hunter High School || 2022 ||</strong></p> <p>Darius is ushering a new style PG’s that transition so well to the next level as he is an athlete that can switch 1-3 and with his activity on the defensive end he is solid ot guard everyone out in the perimeter and he will not be a victim of a smaller guard getting posted up down on the blocks. Darius utilizes his athleticism on the offensive end but he keeps it simple. had himself a solid game that translated to win as he scored 18 points and hit some outside jumpers. Low risk, high reward prospect. </p> <p><strong>5’11 G || Elijah Kersey || Box Elder High School || 2024 ||</strong></p> <p>New name but Elijah has some game as he fell one point short of an epic win against Bonneville. 34 points and he hot 4 three’s against a team that usually does a good job defending everyone across the board. Small in stature but the young prospect is really playing well and he has been all year as he does a little bit of everything as he uses his basketball savvy IQ to get rebounds find teammates and score the ball. </p> <p><strong>6’3 G [player_tooltip player_id="968058" first="Carson" last="Jones"] || Bonneville High School || 2022 ||</strong></p> <p>In 11 of the past 12 games Carson has scored in double digits. The impressive parts is that he has quietly been lighting it up as Bonneville seems to always find ways to win. Carson does a little bit from all over the floor that allows him some great scoring opportunities. Most of the time he does take what the defense gives him. </p> <p><strong>6’3 G [player_tooltip player_id="934027" first="Mason" last="Bendinger"] || Woods Cross High School || 2023 ||</strong></p> <p>It is a thing of beauty when Mason can go into his bag and use all those skills he works to get to his spots and to his favorite move. The kid is solid all over the floor and he shows something new every time he hits the floor. As one of the top guards in the class of 2023 Mason continues to show why win or lose. </p> <p><strong>6’0 G [player_tooltip player_id="969239" first="Maddux" last="Albers"] || Hillcrest High School || 2023 ||</strong></p> <p>Maddux is a solid player and he has had some bright moments this year but when he is on he is a player that allows a Hillcrest to have a chance against teams. The past few games he has scored in double-figures and he was a big reason for them to be in the game. Last night he had another excellent game that resulted in a win. </p>
