Over the course of this week, the Prep Hoops Tennessee team will be flooding you with content previewing and covering Region Tournaments. Here we take a look at standout players to keep an eye on during the 2-4A Regional Tournament.

The following eight teams are participating.

District 3 Teams
Oak Ridge
Knox West
Karns
Campbell County

District 4 Teams
Farragut
Bearden
Hardin Valley
William Blount

Dallas Carbaugh, Farragut (2023)

As a 6-foot-6 wing guard, Dallas Carbaugh is a unique threat. Carbaugh can hit the outside shot some. Big men have to respect that option at least. Any attention Carbaugh is able to force from the opposing big away from the basket is bonus. At times, Dallas can be an elite high-post passer.

[player_tooltip player_id="1390031" first="Dillon" last="Atwell"], Farragut (2022)

Exceptional lower body balance. Dillon is a consistent shooter with a consistent form on the shot preparation and eventual release. He won District MVP for a reason.

"Good three-point shooter," evaluated AAU Coach Russell Biven. "Needs more work with stroke and rotation, but it goes in. Uses strength over quickness to get to rim. Rebounds well."

[player_tooltip player_id="1021794" first="Will" last="Biven"], Knox West (2022)

Biven verbally committed to Anderson University and will sign in April. For a young team, Biven and [player_tooltip player_id="1022314" first="Gabriel" last="Pastrana"] are the true veteran leaders. Biven can really score any way you want. His ability to draw fouls and make the ensuing free throws makes him a headache for defenses and coaches alike. Biven’s balanced game helps and yet Knox West lacks the depth of a Farragut, Oak Ridge, or Bearden.

Ryan Neal, Farragut (2022)

Physical. Built much like Biven. Rock solid. Good guard height. Neal is more of a scrapper to Biven’s skilled mid-range scorer. Neal gives the team value from energy plays, defense, scoring in pockets, and leadership.

[player_tooltip player_id="1296782" first="Isaiah" last="Smith"], Farragut (2022)

Formerly a catch-and-shoot guy, Isaiah is now a well-rounded two-way player. He defends at an elite level, specifically sliding those feet, and cutting off ambitious slashers. Smith is still an exceptional outside shooter, but the team needs his defense every possession and his shooting only occasionally as the offensive balance is quite strong.

Elisha Brabson, Farragut (2022)

Every single Farragut starter earned All-District First Team, including Elisha Brabson. Elisha is a taller wing capable of changing directions swiftly. He is a decent scorer, but his size, strength, and activity around loose balls distinguishes him from his peers.

[player_tooltip player_id="1025784" first="Elijah" last="Bredwood"], Bearden (2022)

Darian Bailey, Bearden (2022)
Walker Kyle, Bearden (2022)
Hayden Moseley, Bearden (2022)
[player_tooltip player_id="1029863" first="Kell" last="Slater"], Oak Ridge (2022)
Jamison Uptgraft (2022)
Jaelyn Pannell, Hardin Valley (2022)
[player_tooltip player_id="1179289" first="Hudson" last="Stokes"], Hardin Valley (2022)
Nick Liakonis, Hardin Valley (2022)

[player_tooltip player_id="1346460" first="Matthew" last="Clemmer"] (2023)

[player_tooltip player_id="1305604" first="Caden" last="Windle"], William Blount (2024)

Cole Gibson, William Blount (2022)

[player_tooltip player_id="1263004" first="JJ" last="Faulkner"], Karns (2023)

Cole Gibson, Campbell County (2022)
Nate Walden, Campbell County (2022)
Devon Jones, Campbell County (2023)
Zac Brady, Campbell County (2022)
Lucas Searcy, Oak Ridge (2022)
Spencer Boshears, William Blount (2022)
