Region 5 Check-In

<p>Region 5 has turned into a competitive region as the beginning looked like Northridge was going to figure it out as they returned one of the most dynamic PG’s in the state in [player_tooltip player_id="968054" first="Sam" last="Sivulich"]. Could end up here locally at Utah State Eastern too. </p> <p><strong>6’3 G [player_tooltip player_id="934027" first="Mason" last="Bendinger"] || Woods Cross High School || 2023 ||</strong></p> <p>Mason has been as advertised with his game that is really developing and he is comfortable out there deferring when he has to and being assertive when he needs to. A lot of upside for this D1 prospect. </p> <p><strong>6’3 G [player_tooltip player_id="968058" first="Carson" last="Jones"] || Box Elder HighSchool || 2022 ||</strong></p> <p>Carson is a beast as he does major damage inside the arc with a high motor and eye for the ball. He can walk into three-pointers, he can hit from deep and he can come off of both sides to get his shots up. Has been getting better in that mid-rang pull-up area and he is figuring out how he can get to the rim. Solid talent with some cold blooded range. </p> <p><strong>6’4 W [player_tooltip player_id="1231453" first="Carson" last="Smith"] || Bountiful High School || 2024 ||</strong></p> <p>Young talent that has a lot of upside as he has a lot of IQ to go with his solid level of play. He rebounds at a high level and he can shoot from deep. </p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Overview</span></p> <p>Region 5 could likely have a three-way tie at the end of the day.
