#16. [player_tooltip player_id="1045927" first="Omari" last="Ward"]. 5”11. Fordham Prep

If your looking for a pure point guard Omari is your guy. He possesses a tight handle, protects the ball, finds the open man. Recently saw him against Long Island Lutheran with vast amount of D1 players and Omari did not back down. In fact he attacked. He was able to handle their size and traps. Very composed player, confident with the ball. He also is a very creative scorer. Was voted the “A” player of the year in the CHSAA.

#25. [player_tooltip player_id="1045941" first="Jack" last="Baron"]. 5”11. Bayport Blue Point

Playing out in Suffolk not everyone might not be aware of this sharpshooter. But one look at his release and rotation on his jumper makes you take notice. Jack has to deal with a lot of doubles and junk defenses, but he is still able to get open and drill deep threes. A comfort to know at the end of games the ball is in his hands to make the right decision, hit the winning shot or go to the foul line and seal the win.

High basketball IQ. A pure scoring guard. Very elusive handle. Can create and score or set up teamates. One of the main reasons why Sewanaka is in the hunt for a county championship. Has a dynamite pull up game off of the dribble.

#47 D J Victory 5”9 Cardinal Hayes

The definition of a New York point guard, Confident, tough and fearless. No situation is to big. Might be the fastest guard with the ball in the city. Gets into the lane and creates. Finishes strong at the rim for a smaller player. Will challenge the bigs and succeed.
