<p>Let’s look at some new players from Long Island Public school leagues who made it into our class of 2022 rankings. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1047082" first="Grayson" last="Flummer"]. 6”4. John Glen #145</strong></p>
<p>Grayson makes our rankings list with his determination to play each possession. Possesses offensive skill in the paint. Good footwork and the ability to make the tough catch. Strong to the rim and uses the glass when he faces you up. Presence on the defensive end altering shots. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1047081" first="Allen" last="Fiore"]. 6”3. Eastport South Manor. #144</strong></p>
<p>Allen has helped the ESM program rise. He is a very capable three point shooter. Real good in catch and shoot situations. Extremely quick off the bounce . Battles inside getting rebounds and keeping possessions alive.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1047071" first="Matt" last="Lindeman"] 5”10 Syosset #136</strong></p>
<p>The heart and sole of his team. Tough gritty talented shooter. Can drain the three from behind the arc. Has great vision. Displays a nice pull up jumper off the bounce. Good on the ball defender. Will sacrifice his body for the team</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1047079" first="Robert" last="Tansey"]. 6”0. Mepham</strong><strong> #142</strong></p>
<p>Can shoot it from behind the line, but is really good off the drive. Protects the ball and gets to the basket. Sees the floor really well. Puts the ball up quickly off of two dribbles.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1125647" first="Gerard" last="Beaubrun"] 6”4 Baldwin #129</strong></p>
<p>Another extremely skilled athletic player for a perennial Long Island Championship contender. Gerard expanded his range this year. Has good elevation on his jumper. Strong body with a good handlp he can get into the paint. Great leaper who can protect the rim. Does a nice job on post defense but can also guard the perimeter.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1046833" first="Tyler" last="Harts"]. 6”2. Sewanaka. #116</strong></p>
<p>Tyler can guard or play the 1-3. Very smart player. Unselfish player who knows when he needs to take on an extra role. Athletic getting to the rim. Scores off the deck in a variety of ways. Extremely quick getting his own misses.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1047077" first="Samir" last="Bell"]. 6”3. Bellport. #140</strong></p>
<p>Really good strong going downhill. Very strong player uses his strength to protect the ball. Might not big the biggest post player but he uses his body and jumping ability to protect the rim. <br />

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1046842" first="Akwon" last="Roberson"]. 6”0. Wyandanch. #126</strong></p>
<p>A guard who stuffs the stat sheet. Excellent scorer of the ball. Excellent rebounder for his size. Has good vision getting the ball to the right teammate for easy baskets. Tough and fearless. Can rebound it, lead the break and finish on his own through contact.</p>
