<p>Our Prep Hoops Pennsylvania Rankings were recently updated for the class of 2022 basketball players. Some names caught the eye of scouts in the Pittsburgh area. With that being said, a quality list was established to showcase Newcomers to the rankings. Below you will find some talented student-athletes that provided a spark this season for their teams and made the "jump" into our rankings this winter.</p>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Newcomers - Class of 2022</strong></span></p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1283491" first="Nick" last="Crum"] - 6’2 - shooting guard - Penn-Trafford High School</p>
<ol>
<li>A skilled shooter from mid-range and the three-point line who can come off screens or make shots in transition. </li>
<li>He has a high basketball IQ and is a proven leader on the floor.</li>
<li>Nick improved his game over the last few years and now has the talent to play at the next level.</li>
</ol>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id="991304" first="Chris" last="Barrish"] - 5’10 - shooting guard - Carmichaels High School</p>
<ol>
<li>His ability to create opportunities for his teammates makes him a nightmare to guard in the half-court set and transition.</li>
<li>An overall balanced guard that handles the ball with precision and limits turnovers throughout a contest.</li>
<li>Chris is shifty and quick on the perimeter and has the motivation to take his game to the collegiate level.</li>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id="991303" first="Jack" last="Gardinier"] - 6’0 - point guard - Quaker Valley High School</p>
<ol>
<li>A proven three-year starter who continues to improve his basketball skills with hard work and dedication.</li>
<li>His leadership qualities have cemented this young man as one of the best guards in the area for assist/turnover ratio.</li>
<li>Jack will be playing college basketball at Susquehanna University, a Division 3 school next season.</li>
</ol>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1389529" first="Benny" last="Cokrlic"] - 6’0 - small forward - Ambridge High School</p>
<ol>
<li>This physical and strong small forward brings intensity and toughness from the football field to the basketball court.</li>
<li>As the season moved forward, this young man became the "go-to guy" for the struggling Ambridge Bridgers in the 4A classification.</li>
<li>Benny made himself into a sound hooper this high school season and developed a nice jumper, to complement his rebounding skill.</li>
</ol>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1202371" first="Jameson" last="Grieco"] - 6’0 - shooting guard - Seneca Valley High School</p>
<ol>
<li>A main positive about this performer is the court awareness he brings to the gym every night.</li>
<li>He likes to "light it up" from the three-point arc and handles close-outs well on his shot release.</li>
<li>Jameson puts in the time and works to become an above-average high school player.</li>
</ol>

<p>Ernie Greer - 6’1 - wing forward - Aliquippa High School</p>
<ol>
<li>This underappreciated guard broke on the high school scene a few years ago as a sophomore for the Quips and looks to close out his career on a high note.</li>
<li>He is a tenacious defender and also has the skill set to make positive things happen on the offensive end of the floor for his teammates.</li>
<li>Ernie is a high academic student-athlete and will be attending college next year with a possible shot at playing some ball.</li>
</ol>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1389530" first="Brian" last="Frederick"] - 6’1 - shooting guard - Ambridge High School</p>
<ol>
<li>He can knock down the open three-pointer when given the opportunity in the half-court set, whether or not he is coming off screens.</li>
<li>The skill on both ends of the floor portrayed by this player showed his work ethic in the off-season.</li>
<li>Brian continued to develop his game throughout the winter months which gained him much more playing time.</li>
