<p>Our class of 2022 rankings are here. Let’s look at the big men in the middle. These are all 6”7 and bigger players from the city and Long Island.</p>
<p><strong>#6. [player_tooltip player_id="1167876" first="Tobe" last="Awaka"]. 6”8. Cardinal Hayes</strong></p>
<p>A tremendous body. Was our #1 preseason pick in the CHSAA. He did not disappoint. Was voted MVP by the coaches. Patrols the paint. Offensively he can score with either hand. Commands the boards on both ends. Would be a major get for a D1 program. Many low to mid major offers. A winner.</p>
<p><strong>#8. [player_tooltip player_id="996940" first="Tariquek" last="Foster" ] 6”8. Cardinal Hayes</strong></p>
<p>Tremendous athlete and shooter. Was MVP of CHSAA spring tournament. Made second team AA all league. Excellent long frame to go with his athletic body. Nice looking jump shooter. Excellent release point. Can rebound it and finish the break. Can defend the perimeter.</p>
<p><strong>#11. [player_tooltip player_id="787629" first="Finley" last="Sheridan"]. 6”7. Long Island Lutheran</strong></p>
<p>Very fluid player. Outstanding catch and shoot player. Would be excellent in pick and pop situations. Can put it on the deck and finish as well. Runs the floor long athletic body.</p>
<p><strong>#14. [player_tooltip player_id="1136568" first="Isaiah" last="Alexander"]. 6”7. Stepinac</strong></p>
<p>Isaiah also made second team AA all league. A transfer from Pa. hoopsters were surprised when we had him at #34 in our top 70.But he lived up to that. Might be the best perimeter defender on this list. Uses his length and athleticism. Gets deflections and closes out well with his length. He can shoot it or score it off of misses. Excellent in finishing on break.</p>
<p><strong>#18. [player_tooltip player_id="1046080" first="Jaxon" last="Koroll"] 6”10. Long Island Lutheran</strong></p>
<p>Big body, post player. Jaxon is a defensive presence in the paint. Outstanding rebounder and finishes off the offensive boards. Can score inside with either hand</p>
<p><strong>#26. [player_tooltip player_id="1204204" first="Nick" last="Watts"]. 6”9. Northport</strong></p>
<p>Tremendous footwork and post moves. Really nice jump hook. Excellent rebounder on the defensive end. Really good post player.Can step out and shoot the three. Had one game where he made 11 threes. </p>
<p><strong>#36. [player_tooltip player_id="1125596" first="Devere" last="Palmer"]. 6”7. Christ the King</strong></p>
<p>Devere combines his size with athleticism. Commands the boards and is a presence inside. He can score 12 feet and in, Has improved every year at CTK. Colleges need to get involved with this player. Under the radar talent.</p>
<p><strong>#83. Clinton Efinda. 6”7. St John the Baptist</strong></p>
<p>Very athletic big. Playing on the island he does not get all the recognition he deserve. Strong presence inside. Can put the ball on the deck. Inside 12 feet he can score it or get to the rim.</p>
