The class of 2023 rankings are set to be updated in the near future. Here’s a look at the new names who will crack the list...

No. 43 [player_tooltip player_id="1324016" first="Tre" last="Miller"] (Janesville Parker)

Miller looked really good in some fall league action and he’s backed it up during his junior season. The junior guard has a strong, athletic build, able to get downhill and take contact at the rim. Able to mix it up offensively and shoot from a distance when defenders go under screens to protect against the drive.

No. 52 [player_tooltip player_id="1203186" first="Tyson" last="Keil"] (Appleton East)

Not sure how Keil escaped my radar during the travel season, but definitely took notice of the high motor, high-flying forward this winter. Keil has been a big part of Appleton East’s fantastic 2021-22 campaign and is one of the top x-factors in the state. Bouncy, athletic shot blocking forward who gets off the ground quickly. Shows some ability to shoot from the outside as well.

No. 55 [player_tooltip player_id="1260992" first="Darius" last="Chestnut"] (Sun Prairie)

Outside the top 50, but has a chance to be one of the biggest risers over the next year. A strong, athletic guard with explosive athleticism, Chestnut is averaging 13 points per game for the Cardinals, who won double-digit games in the Big Eight Conference this season.

No. 62 [player_tooltip player_id="1371014" first="Jamari" last="Gamble"] (Milwaukee Riverside)

Gamble is putting up 21 points per game for Riverside this season. A combo guard with excellent positional size (6-3), Gamble is a high volume scorer that operates really well in the pick n’ roll.

No. 82 [player_tooltip player_id="1307531" first="Mateo" last="Jimenez"] (Madison Edgewood)

A quick, skilled guard with in-the-gym range, Jimenez can absolutely fill it up. A guy defenders have to pick up early, Jimenez is a threat to pull up off the bounce quickly in possessions. Maestro-type playmaking ability when he gets into the paint.

No. 85 [player_tooltip player_id="1349129" first="Nic" last="Williams"] (La Crosse Central)

Williams is averaging around 10 points per game for a very balanced River Hawk lineup that features four other players who contribute double figures in scoring. A plus-length, shifty guard, Williams has shown the ability to take over games and be the No. 1 option this season.

No. 91 [player_tooltip player_id="1289030" first="Garrett" last="Staszak"] (Appleton North)

Staszak is averaging 9.2 points per game as a junior. The 5-foot-10 guard is a shot maker that’s hitting at about a 37 percent clip from beyond the arc. Staszak has come up big and knocked down timely shots in a handful of games this season.

No 97 [player_tooltip player_id="1266551" first="Jaeden" last="Grade"] (Laconia)

Another fall league standout who’s proven himself during the 2021-22 season, Grade is averaging 17.6 points and 5.1 assists per game. A 6-foot lead guard with an advanced feel for the game, Grade has a knack for making the right basketball play.
