<p>The Patriots have been rolling all season long under Head Coach Larry Davis. The Patriots have a group of seniors leading the way this season.<strong> [player_tooltip player_id="746056" first="Kory" last="Davis"]</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="746059" first="Kendall" last="Davis"]</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="930612" first="Jimeion" last="Brown"],</strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="930604" first="LaDarian" last="McCree"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="930618" first="Jevon" last="Long"]</strong> have led the way all season long. Underclassmen <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="865286" first="Derrick" last="Barksdale"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="996190" first="Justin" last="Pauling"]</strong> see plenty of playing time. Can the Patriots keep it going? </p>
<p><strong>2- Philip Simmons (21-3) </strong></p>

<p>The Iron Horses are the new kids on the block down in Charleston. Philip Simmons has lost to Conway HS, Myrtle Beach HS and Porter Ridge (NC) all bigger in classification. The Iron Horses have won 10 straight games and currently stand at (8-0) in region play. Philip Simmons HS will play Woodland HS this coming Thursday in a region contest. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1324704" first="Miles" last="Haight"], [player_tooltip player_id="1351622" first="Matthew" last="Lemmon"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1360546" first="Robert" last="Watson"]</strong> all provide leadership for this squad. Haight chips in with 16 ppg while Watson averages 12.4 ppg. </p>
<p><strong>3- Gray Collegiate (17-4)</strong></p>

<p>The War Eagles have won its last 10 games in a row. Gray Collegiate loads up with a tough non region schedule. Head Coach Dion Bethea has very balance scoring with <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="865341" first="Trai" last="White"]</strong> 13.5 ppg, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1186672" first="Avantae" last="Parker"]</strong> 11.5 ppg,<strong> [player_tooltip player_id="594048" first="Calvin" last="Hall"]</strong> 10.2 ppg, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="865318" first="Jalen" last="Jefferson"]</strong> 10.1 ppg and Senior guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="930607" first="Tory" last="Kelly"]</strong> 9 ppg. Kelly is signed to play football next year at Wingate University (NC) (NCAA D2). </p>
<p><strong>4-Christ Church (16-4)</strong></p>

<p>The returning Class 2A State Champions have lost to Dorman HS, Fort Dorchester HS, Abbeville HS and 1of1 Academy (NC). Junior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="865293" first="Jordan" last="Butler"]</strong> is patrolling the paint while averaging 12.6 ppg, 7.6 rebounds and 4.1 blocks this season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1155909" first="DJ" last="Harvey"]</strong> is filling up the stat sheet this season at 11.2 ppg, 5.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists while <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="837349" first="Samuel" last="Perry"]</strong> a unsigned senior comes in at 10.8 ppg while recently going over 1,000 career points. Can the Cavaliers repeat this season?</p>
<p><strong>5- Wade Hampton HS (Varnville) (19-2)</strong></p>

<p>The Red Devils just seem to be here every year and winning games under the radar. The Red Devils have had setbacks to Edisto HS 44-43 and James Island HS 66-54. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1127744" first="Isaac" last="Gray"]</strong> leads the team at 15.9 ppg, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1354735" first="Brendon" last="Brantley"]</strong> 13.1 ppg and<strong> [player_tooltip player_id="936270" first="Jamian" last="Risher"]</strong> 10.6 ppg. </p>
<p><strong>6- Landrum HS (20-3)</strong></p>

<p>The Cardinals have done it again under Head Coach Lyn Smith that is win 20 plus games. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="976895" first="Isaiah" last="Washington"]</strong> currently has 1,376 career points while averaging 19.8 ppg and 6.8 assists this season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1316122" first="Franklin" last="Davis"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1316124" first="Mason" last="Raines"]</strong> both come in at 12 ppg and 10.3 per outing. This Cardinals team is in a region battle with St Joseph's tonight. </p>
<p><strong>7- Andrew Jackson HS (Kershaw) (15-7)</strong></p>

<p>The Volunteers have scored some big wins this season over Gray Collegiate and Spring Valley. The Volunteers have fallen to York Prep - 2 times, Wilson HS, AC Flora HS and Great Falls to name a few. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1080954" first="Ca'Darrius" last="Sowell"]</strong> a unsigned senior is averaging 26.5 ppg, 4.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists this season. Sowell currently has 1,165 career points. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1151065" first="Tanas" last="Watkins"]</strong> plays in the paint and is averaging 13.2 ppg and 9.6 rebounds this season. </p>
<p><strong>8- Woodland HS (15-5) </strong></p>
<p>The Wolverines play off the grid a bit down in the [program_tooltip program_id='2078736' first='Lowcountry' last='']. The have losses to South Aiken HS, First Baptist, Orangeburg-Wilkinson and Philip Simmons. The Wolverines have a rematch with the Iron Horses later this week.</p>
<p><strong>9- St Joseph's Catholic (Greenville) (13-6) </strong></p>

<p>The Knights have a big contest tonight with Landrum HS in region play. The Knights the winners of 8 straight games have the lead in the region headed into tonight's contest. <p><strong>10- Abbeville HS (11-2) </strong></p>
<p>The Panthers are just not a football powerhouse. The Panthers are currently (6-1) in the region just behind Christ Church (7-1). Junior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1297525" first="Javario" last="Tinch"]</strong> is averaging 17.3 ppg and 8.3 rebounds this season while <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1315199" first="Rhasheed" last="Davis"]</strong> comes in at 14.4 ppg. </p>
